YUCK on that ugly pink AMPS again....my big pink toad. I'm not sure why we slipped off those blue runs we had going but we're trying it at that dose again.
I'm not giving Scruffy (CHF) the lasix twice a day now - he's not needing it that often any more! Not sure what's happening there but he seems to be feeling like his old self. I only give him a single smaller dose (10mg/1x vs 12.5mg/2x) daily which seems to be right. He's still taking the enalapril once a day.
Lacey (drooler with CHF) is feeling better also altho' she IS getting her full doses of heart meds. If I miss one, she starts coughing. We finally got her to eat something besides boiled chicken again...changed her eating bowl. She's used one of those corelle bowls for years but now seems to be having a problem getting the food off the bottom. We changed to a shallower bowl - seems to be working better. What teeth she has left as well as her jaw bones are awful but we knew that would be the case when we adopted her...we had her whole upper palate rebuilt due to probably being kicked or thrown hitting something. They warned us it wouldn't probably last her whole life...guess now we're seeing that "probably not last..".
Now I'll share my thoughts today:
Thoughts and prayers today for all our ailing kitties and beans needing it. We especially hold close BJ losing Spitzer, Claudia/Rocket/Comet, Ry/Scooter and Babee's and Sara's beans.
HUGS to all,
