Jack was coming down nicely last night, and this morning, but then I went to Brooklyn today and at some point during the day, Jack busted into the cabinet, and got to the regular kibble :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: At least, I'm assuming it was him who did it; it could have been his brother Otis...he's a naughty kitty too. I have hair ties on the cabinet handles for YEARS and they never bothered. Today, the hair tie was in the living room and the bag of kibble on the kitchen floor. And, now we have 379 and 366. :spam::spam::spam::spam::spam: On the brighter side, I spoke with my regular vet last night (not the surgeon at the specialty clinic) and she prescribed gabapentin in addition to the Buprinex and Onsior for Sable. He had his first dose this morning but wasn't into eating much more than he has been licking. However, he actually ate a little fish tonight and licked more mush and broth than he has been. Thanks to everyone who has been asking about him. Praying Jack doesn't spike too high overnight, and that the 9 units helps him come down soon.

Cats!! One of the funny stories I heard was a kitty here breaking into a lazy susan cupboard and getting into egg noodles. :banghead: Neko's weakness was bread products.

Paws crossed Jack's carby hangover doesn't last too long.

Sending healing and eating vines for Sable.

I don't understand how we got 101 at his AMPS today. 9 units didn't bring him down there and the day after he binges on carbs he's 101. I DO NOT understand this.
