+3 67

I've been giving him to much food after every shot. More like a large tablespoon. But I didn't give him a big breakfast

Did you get an auto feeder? Now is the time to experiment and see what’s needed to keep him green as long as possible but also we don’t want him to go under 50 for as long as possible so he has a strong remission. Tricky but since you are home and can test more often it will be less so.

How’s his weight now?

I do have the auto feeder. He wasn't as interested in eating so I grabbed a different flavor. Perhaps he can to much earlier.
I will set the feeder for this afternoon. I've used it for at night. So I need to add more times. I'll do that today

I gave him a teaspoon.
I don't think he's had his share for the day yet.
I can put tiny amounts in auto feeder for 2x before PMPS but before the 2 hours before that time

I’d not feed and test in 2 hours. I don’t think he will go lower. If you want you could test in 1 and 2 hours.

Sounds good. I'm 4.25 hours before his PMPS. He should be good not to eat until after PMPS or I can test him right before, just in case?

How much do you feed over the course of the night? I’d feed half if it now and then space out the rest over the next 4-6 hours.

I lost track of what l how much I fed him today. I opened a new can because he wasn't eating the one I had opened, plus I was giving some med carb.

I know what I should feed for tomorrow. I'm gonna portion it out now for tomorrow.

She might need higher carbs. Let’s see the +3. Is she’s acting super hungry test sooner please. That was a very big drop.

I just saw steady at +3. Give more mc. We want a week of a drop of insulin if possible. She looks like she might have other ideas.

I realize I didn't put +3 or something. It was 61 then and I gave a little more each. Now he has at 75. Was thinking little more low carb?

@tiffmaxee tomorrow AM we shoot any number over 50? checking since you won't be around. carb him up (if need be) and shoot?

Yes. I would shoot anything 50+ because you can monitor and feed accordingly. It’s not so much the amount of food at each feeding but the % carbs and frequently enough to keep him over 50. The early drop was likely not enough carbs.

What do I not want him to get below? Should I feed medium carb tomorrow?

If he falls under 50 you would stop insulin. We want to keep him on a drop at least 7 days if possible. So if 90 or above you can feed lc but if 50-70 mc and 70-90 a mix of lc/mc should be good.
