Good morning L&L,
Hope all kitties and beans are doing well today! He was really good all nite last nite.
So much so, that my friend and I actually snuck out for a quick early dinner!! OMG!! I felt like a normal person!! It's been months since I've been out anywhere!! I was nervous that I wouldn't make it home for T/f/s time b/c the restaurant was more crowded than expected, but I spoke to the waiter and explained that I had to get home and he did everything he could to get us out on time... and he did!
Flame sounded a bit snuffly and a bit congested this morning - nothing like it was, but if I got close I could hear it. Praying it doesn't get any worse. His appy is a bit off this morning as well.
Initially offered 1/2 can of FF chicken/liver (which he ate greedily yesterday) and he turned his nose up at it. Then tried 1/2 can Weruva Funk in the Trunk, he ate a little. Gave him his Vetmedin and 1/2 dose b-12 and cosequin in baby food and of course, he lapped that right up!
Tried 1/2 can of Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken a little while ago and he mostly licked the liquid.
I did hear him in the kitchen a few minutes ago while I was updating his SS and it sounded like he was eating a bit.
He took his pred, famotadine and Zyrtec with liverwurst. And I did get him to take his Flovent inhaler this morning. Hoping that helps.
Has anyone heard of, or is anyone using Instinct Raw Boost? They had little sample sized packets at Petsmart for $1.99 so I bought one and thought I could use as a treat or a food topper. They are like little freeze dried chicken pellets but they are softer than the freeze dried chicken treats.
I spoke to my friend last nite who is asthmatic herself. She has an extra nebulizer that she is going to give me so I don't have to buy one. Now I just have to get the meds. Easier for me to do this at home than dragging him to the vet if he needs it. Esp. if I can't get him to take the inhaler and he's struggling, at least I'll have this at home for him.
Have a good day everyone! Kitties behave and surf safely!!
