i have 2 schools of thought:

1). this is simply a bounce. ride it out today and let's re-evaluate tonight or tomorrow.

2). you could help things along by shooting 0.1u and then re-start a trial on the next green preshot number.

let's see what the others say...

I guess Bailey wanted to throw in a little more drama...

I like Jill's choices. She has already come down some since +7 so she might continue dropping on her own, but giving her a little help is also a good idea.

OK, it's only been 30 min since I tested & fed, so I am going to shoot and hope to restart the trial tonight. Thanks ladies so much for the help and the quick response. Cross your paws for us!

Liz has a great point - anytime you see a number you didn't expect, grab a new strip and retest. you never know.

in any case, don't be discouraged because bailey is clearly making her wishes known. perhaps her pancreas is just sputtering and tired after all of yesterday's excitement! :YMHUG:

+2 is coming down, hopefully it was just a bounce! I didn't retest because the AMBG was so close to the +7 we had gotten... she was yellow overnight.

I hope Bailey's pancreas has had a nice nap and is ready to try again tonight! :lol:

All right, we made it back to green! Whew. Kind of a fast drop, I will entice her to eat some fuds. I am relieved.

Now hopefully she can stay there until PS. Sienne (or Jill or Libby etc), if I understand correctly, should I have postponed the trial when I got that 127 last night and waited for a green PS? Just curious for next time. My PMPS is at 1 AM CST so usually no one is around for advice. :roll:

Sorry about this little hiccup, Melissa, but that's all it is. Bailey just wants to make sure she's still getting attention! Hope you guys can get back on track tonight or tomorrow morning.

It's not that you "should have" waited. Given how well Bailey has been doing, we just assumed your AMPS would be green. (Our bad!) We frequently do say, "The next green PS, start the trial."

So, If Bailey stays green for your PMPS, you can start the trial.
