? 2/25 Tigger [+6 106, +10 93] AM(BG) 139. PMPS 449 Back to normal shot???

If you haven't fed his PS meal could you grab another test, let's see what his numbers are doing?
If you can delay by 45min that gives you 2hrs from the snack and the number should be 'real' not food influenced.

For next time
That number at +10.5 93 looked pretty flat with respect to the earlier test in that cycle, there's every chance that he would have popped up a bit by amps on his own this tends to happen as they approach the end of duration.
If this happens again, as he is in no danger at 93, you could with hold food and wait and see what the PS is, then you can tell if the number is flat, rising or falling. By feeding within that 2hr window, we don't know how much that amps number is being influenced by the snack you gave 1 hr 15 min ago and how much of that number is just Tigger's numbers going up because it's the end of the cycle.

When you leave for work can you leave food out for him?

If you were to check in 15min (giving you your 2hrs from snack time) and he were about the same or higher, you have shot about that number before.
If it was me I would shoot but make sure he had snacks available to him, if you use a timed feeder or even just a bowl with some food if he will graze.

I'd feel more uncomfortable about shooting if I couldn't leave him any food down and he was going to be on his own all day, so in that instance I would err to skipping. Unless you could get back to check on him later. He has had DKA before so skipping also makes me nervous, I take it last DKA was july, if so it's not that recent so makes skipping less worrisome.

does he seem himself?
Any sign of infection/illness?
Vomiting?
Is he eating ok?
can you check his ketones?

I was waiting to see what you decided or if you needed any more help. I guess you've gone off to work and made a decision one way or other.
Board went down so don't know if you were trying to post when that happened.
Hope all goes well with Tigger today.

I'm off now

We do have to dash and can’t be home to to test until close to PMPS. He’s only had the one event of DKA last July. I just got nervous cause I could see it was a bounce breaking and last time I woke up and he was 60 at AMBG! He’s not the best eater which is why I always hesitate.

I chickened out and gave him 0.25.
