hi all,
sending prayers for Butthead, Whiskers and Tori....as well as their beans

lack of appetite today for Rocket...though he is stubborn in wanting to go out on the balcony...so we sort of have a routine now...let him out for a few minutes then in then out then in....it keeps us both busy i think...

we have painters in right now so can't feed nor test...he won't eat while people are here and i won't stress him testing him

I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday, it was really a chaotic day for us.

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. Prayers for you and Rocket from us too. How is Rocket doing? It is nice he wants to spend a few minutes outdoors, he must love it.

I'm glad you got Rocket's numbers down today. I hope once the painters leave, he will eat. I like your balcony routine - you're both getting some exercise.

painters left...finally!

managed to eat at +6.5 not as much as i'd want but enough for now...

the dancing with the in/out of the balcony is quite the exercise for both of us for sure....it's sunny outside but it's still -15C....so gotta make sure i bring him in after a few minutes out....

heading out for my dr's apt in half hr....hopefully he'll be ok as well as Comet as i dont' like fans going while i'm not here....and the smell of fresh paint!....

((((Rocket))))) ((((Claudia))))) Sorry there is work going on and the smell of fresh paint. My head hurts even thinking about it. I really am loving hearing about him wanting to go out on the balcony. That makes me smile. Glad he ate some for you.

Balcony boy knows how to keep his mamabean on her toes! It reminds me of a song I heard a while ago: a cat singing "I wanna go out", "I wanna come in", "I wanna go out" , "I wanna come in", etc. etc.
Claudia, I'm glad Rocket decided to eat after the painters left. The paint smell shouldn't last too long. I'm sure Rocket and Comet will be fine while you're out. Lots more prayers and positive thoughts heading your way.

i sure hope it was not a furshot.....he was tucked in the closet in his crate...he's finally made it to our bedroom but the closet is as far as he's gone...so at least it's not bad...i wished he went on our bed though...but i take what he gives me...the shot is worrying me...i will check later and see....

gave second round of fluids and tomorrow i will give 1.75u (really not used to drawing that much out but whatever)

I hope it wasn't a furshot. Cool that he's made it to the bedroom. Do you have babystairs for him to go onto the bed?

yes the stairs are there for him to use as next to the bed is where his bed is by the window...he's managed to stay on his bed a total of 10 mins today...but i placed him there....he took in the sunshine for a bit (the window is south facing) so afterwards he bolts out of the room...but this afternoon i looked for him in the tub (i took a catnap) and i got freaked out i couldn't find him...and so i checked in our room and there he was in his crate...which he's only used 3 times EVER....i put it in the room in case he ever wanted a quiet place...

i sure hope it was not a furshot at that number!
