Good evening Friends and with heaps of vines for all in need.

Here's a photo of Azalea tonight, waiting patiently for Steve to settle in during the transition from being in my company to his. She likes to have supper with him, breffis with me.

She is more steady each day, and still in the liver shake appetizer groove. Did quite a bit of upstairs exploration this morning and was feeling more sure of herself. She did a big yawn in between tonight's photos. I wasn't fast enough. Her mouth looks pretty good!

She adds her thanks and love with ours for you all and your friendship and support through thick and thin these many months for our entire tribe

Thank you. Yep, chugging along is aptly put about Sootie's Tribe, humans and kitties.
We miss Sootie and Bo beyond words. Some days are more gentle than others. I apologise for not being more active since Sootie's passing. It's not only for external reasons. Too often when trying to catch up on others condos, the flooding of memories hits and my intentions for positive thoughts-to-words stall out. And I don't want to inundate about the civies's lives either. Everything takes time. And patience. And perseverance. And with blessings to cherish in each moment.

Steve just texted me an upstairs apres dinner photo of Azalea settled in for a nap on one of her favorite chairs: a snowshoe rocking chair that my mother gave to me many years ago. It was given to her by the early 20th century Arctic explorer Peter Freuchen, a fellow Dane who lived in our village in the 1950's, seeking good well water and a safe harbor from the McCarthy era. Thought you'd like the picture, en homage to yours and Edward's snowshoeing treks in the great North.
