Pretty sure this AM is a fur shot. dang it!!! I smell it .... :P
He scooted away on me this AM... he is crabby today for some reason. Which is not normally the case.
IDK UGH so sad. Will be here today to keep an eye, but not much i can do now. Is it possible to give him like .25 U which is the highest we have given him ever (3 U) ? Then he would at least have a lil bit in him today?
I will try to do the PM shot ASAP. This evening as well.

You'll have to wait and see if this was a fur shot or if there was some Lantus on the syringe and that's what you smelled. I wouldn't give any additional insulin -- you just don't know how much went in. Shooting early may be a strategy providing you don't see another low nadir today.

I agree with what Sienne said. If you feel that you've given a fur shot, you really don't know how much actually went under the skin. It's best to wait, monitor him throughout the day, and then give the next dose per what Sienne suggested. Hang in there. You're not the only one that gave fur shots. :-D
