I will be retesting in 15 minutes. If he goes below 50, I will give him food with syrup.

Question: If he goes back up right away with the syrup, do I still take the reduction? He had one just a couple of days ago...
 
As far as I can see his last reduction was 6 days ago. That's enough time for the depot to adjust to that dose.
If he goes below 50, you can take the reduction.
 
Looks like everytime I think something is going to happen, he does the exact opposite. 58 at +5.5. I guess he likes this dose and wants to stay at that dose!
 
He's getting close to that reduction point. Keep watching him and testing. I think it's soon, if not this cycle.
 
Do you have any more tests, yet? I used to test every 30 minutes when in the 50s.
 
He ate his normal meal at +6 and he is back at 74 at +6.5. He wants to make mommy nervous, but he doesn't want that reduction yet!

I'm the worst momma. All day I kept thinking I hope he stays a little higher tonight. I'm just so TIRED!!! Kudos to all the people that have been doing the FD dance for years!!! :woot:
 
Absolutely not the worst momma! :bighug: You kept him safe today, and his numbers are so much better. You both deserve a break tonight. I think all of us here can relate to the elation of a small PM cycle bounce.
 
yup... agree with Wendy... you are doing a great job and this dance kills us on the sleeping... take it when you can!! no guilt

I'm kind of afraid to type that he is doing better because last time I did, he went back to pink a couple of hours later and today he gave me TWO 50 when I ask for advice on when he would drop below 50. But yes the last month has been really amazing and all of it is because of this board and the amazing people here. A month ago I was wishing for lower YELLOW and now we see mostly blue and green. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
