Yesterday, slide day.

2/24 Recap:
AMPS 289 +9 262
PMPS 205 +4 212
Surprise momma - look what I did overnight! :cat: Not sure if that was flat yellow talking or Neko finally getting a good depot going, whatever - I'll take it!

We interrupt this tale with a scritching request from the purry girl. No, momma, I want the downside ear done. I do like typing a condo with the sound of a purr rumble in the background.

It's a gray day, rains to come later. Ella's comment last night made me remember I should document what the builders have done and the damage to our tree/fence. Better get out and take pictures. Later today it's car insurance time - once I get the car back. DH is borrowing the practical car to take a rowing shell to a high school for a recruiting event.

Healing vines to all in need. Think green kitties!

What a nice surprise this morning, she earned extra Scritches for that, and perhaps she thought she'd better take those scritches early before her +3 surprise o_O

What a shame about your hemlock tree. When I had some fencing done here they killed off a beautiful grevillea :(

Enough teasing you purry little girl. Get those numbers down. Please.

Hope she settles down for you, Wendy. Although that morning narrative sure is sweet...

Wow, that's a nice morning surprise, Neko! :D But then what happened at +3? Time to get back to those blues and greens Miss Purry!

Just barely hanging onto those blues.

@ Tina, Delia, Serryn, Carla, Marilyn, Jen - Another "interesting" cycle. Due to my fur shots , Neko has gotten out of practice with green and probably still has a little depot building to do.
@Vyktors Mum - DH got some good pictures of the hemlock tree root hack job. It was the neighbours contractors who did the deed. When we got the insurance today - the agent said to document and write a letter, in case the tree dies. It can cost a couple thousand to get a tree taken down. I'm also worried cause we get good winds here and the tree would hit the house if it fell down the wrong way.

Hi Wendy and Neko! I'm glad Neko had a nice green start today, and I hope she spends more time in those numbers! Yikes about your tree...that is a bummer, and I hope everything gets sorted out. Have a nice evening!!

Come back to green, Neko!
Good thing you got photos of the tree damage. I hope the tree doesn't die. Is it a large hemlock? They are so beautiful and are under a lot of stress already from an invasive insect (the wooly something or other; years ago we lost our hemlocks in our yard in Brooklyn from this pest; hopefully you don't have it on the west coast).

Good luck with your car (I missed what happened to it). How exciting to be soon on the water!
