He was ready to eat when I got up, hope he feels better today. cat_pet_icon

I'll be gone for about 4 hrs today, have Dr's appt and things I need to do. Hopefully be back by his +6. bcatrun_gif

Nice start after the bounce last night...yep its a kitty party on the yellow floor today, now hopefully Autumn has found her map to the blue and green floors and can bat her eye lashes at the boys and get them to chase her down there. :-D

Yeah I have a bunch of running to do today as well, but should be back by +6.

Just got home and as I walked in the door, there's Lucian with his face in the plate of food that I left for them. ohmygod_smile Guess I'll have to wait a bit for that spot check. :lol: I figured he'd eat earlier, since he hadn't eaten since 7:50 this morning. He must be running lower, he doesn't eat near as much when his numbers are closer to normal. :-D That makes me feel better. :-D

You can still get a spot check on him if you want it will give you info on how carb sensitive he is and how much food raises him, just mark on his spreadsheet that he was eating right before the test. That could be valuable information to have when you do start getting lower numbers and need to know if you are going to need to pull out the high carb stuff to bring him up or if just his regular low carb stuff.

I know he'll bounce up at pmps, the question is...how far :?: :?: Keeping fingers crossed for under 500, at least then I would feel like he is settling in a bit. :roll:

And he did! :-D Very similar to day before yesterday, hopefully will even out a little more tomorrow or will be going for an increase.

Just seeing something a little familiar, that's NOT black, is a good sign, I think. :thumbup

Yes it is, he may still be settling a little and probably will need an increase but at least we are starting to get some real movement in the numbers now and he isn't going black or worse yet HI. He is just going to be one of those cats that takes more than the average cat.

What I meant was, he's gonna need an increase soon, but if he's showing evidence of settling, I'll wait a day, let him mellow out a bit more, if he spikes back up in the AM or PM tomorrow, I'm gonna go ahead and increase. That's correct right? :?: So d*mn confusing :?

By Jove I think you've got it...yep as long as you aren't seeing green at nadir consistantly then up you go after he settles.
