So Leroy :lol:

Leroy gets dropped off at the vet hospital today so his throat can be checked for those polyp thingies and get bloodwork done to check kidney values (borderline high last time) and I think Dr. B mentioned a urinalysis. Not sure if Dr. B is in today. He said he would be out this week, probably because it's school vacation week and has to take watch the kids. Leroy did more coughing Thursday morning.... at 3am ohmygod_smile He was on the bed spacing out (because he does not actually sleep) and I heard him jump off and start coughing on the floor.

Will post update on Leroy later. I probably won't have test results or anything until next week.

my first thought was relief that he didn't present you with a hairball from his coughing! let us know how the polyp action goes!

i'm glad you started a loose lips today - i've been thinking about how jill asked us to keep the chatter and pictures here so the folks who spend time giving us advice don't have to wade through a bunch of chit-chat. i am so grateful that people with more experience will do that - i want to honor that request! we also have a lot of new folks since this discussion who wouldn't even know about it.

So vet visit today was... brief. All the vet tech did was take blood and urine samples confused_cat When I had talked to Dr. B, he said he wanted a endoscopy done to see what was going on in Leroy's throat as well as bloodwork. He said he would have his secretary schedule all that for me. I assumed that when his secretary contacted me and set up the appointment that Leroy would have everything done in one day. But she only scheduled for the bloodwork stuff ohmygod_smile Leroy's going to have to go back for the endoscopy. I'll talk to Dr. B about scheduling that when he calls with the bloodwork results.

I should have asked the tech to squeeze the goo out of Leroy's anal glands. His butt stinks again ohmygod_smile I'll attempt to do it myself again. I got some goo out the other day and that improved things a bit.
