Last Night's Condo

At least I'm earlier tonight than last night (a little).

Cinco apparently didn't want me to leave this morning. I really stressed about that +4.5, but I had to take Minka to her chemo, and I had a badly needed hair appointment afterwards. I loaded up Otto with 8% and said a prayer. I suspect he dropped lower, judging by that 10.5 and PMPS! I wish I could have been here to let him surf.

Minka's chemo went well. Her anemia was worse, so they gave her a shot of iron. The Oncologist is concerned about her inappetance - she'd lost a couple more ounces. She recommends acupuncture to help her appetite. Unfortunately, they only have one acupuncture vet right now, and she's booked up until April.
Before I forget, I want to say thanks to everyone that stopped by my condo from last night. @Ann & Tess thank you so much for the link to the smilies from the old board! You made my day!

My brain is kind of tired, so I think this is about all from me for tonight.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM. Thinking of Paula and sending positive vines her way.

I hope the iron shot helps Minka's anemia. I'm glad her chemo went well. Maybe you can find another vet with an acupuncuturist. I hope Cinco gets back to the lagoon for you soon.

I agree with @carfurby , perhaps, at least until they have openings, you can find a different vet acupuncturist and then flip back to the one that is booked through April then. Or tell them they need to hire a second acupuncturist to their staff


Ahhhhh, I love my hair appointments, yes its nice to get the color and stuff, but just getting a fresh cut and the chill time in the chair is oh so nice....I hope you enjoyed!

Cinco will get back to business today. I can't remember but have you tried cyproheptadine with Minka? I know you tried it with some of your kitties without success. Tiffany didn't do well with mirt but did with cypro. She also didn't get the munchies from pred but my Mandie sure did. Just a thought.

Oh, Cinco...you''ll have plenty of MamaBean time, too - no need to give her a heart attack!!

ALso for Minka....have you done any more assist-feeding with her? Maybe that would be enough to help her maintain her weight - and maybe even jump start her appy. I know you had done some assist-feeding...just diidn't know if you were still doing it.
