Good Morning Everyone,

Rusty is a little higher this morning, part of which may be a food spike (he was eating his nighttime food when we got up). He had a good night, apparently an active one. He woke me up at some dark hour with head butts and squirms and had been giving himself a bath: his sides were wet! He also was into one of the closets (he's discovered how to pry open closet doors recently). So far this morning he has eaten all of his breakfast in 1 sitting and retired to his cushion next to the radiator. (It's only -2 F. here this morning, so I don't know why he should be in the "warm spot"!!). Anyway, we're about to have a game and then I have to go to Plattsburgh for kitty supplies. I was going to go to Plattsburgh tomorrow, but we are expecting a major blizzard to begin tonight. We're hosting a potluck birthday party this evening for the "baby" of our outdoors group who is turning 60 (big milestone). Last week she broke her arm in a downhill ski race, but says she's up for the party anyway. So I'll be busy most of the day and evening and won't have much time to post except for Rusty's numbers.
Everyone have a good day. We are continuing to send positive thoughts and prayers for our kitties who are unwell. Feel better!

Good morning guys ... I know it's a higher start to the day then you like but still a nice number ... that is funny about rusty's sides being wet .. when twix bathes she is instantly dry but when mocha bathes she is soaked from head to tail ... Hope you get your kitty supplies and back home before the blizzard starts .. have a great day guys!

How funny to hear about him being all wet after his bath! All that fur, I guess it holds the moisture! 125 isn't a bad PS at all, especially considering he had just been eating. Enjoy your trip for kitty supplies- I bet Rusty will be excited to explore and approve it all when you get back. Happy potluck tonight!! :mrgreen:

Morning! nice start today - I think Rusty will have a great cycle. Have a great day today - it sounds like you guys have a great crowd, so much fun. Enjoy the time together. and have a safe journey out while shopping for kitty supplies. :-D

Rusty - dude!! Good job on disturbing the beans while they sleep - the bath thing was a good touch! hey -you wanna go and hit the dunes in the buggies today? We are taking the KTSS out today too - so many sick kitties: Rocket, Butthead, Whiskers, and Tori - anyone I missed? We will do Tori tonight, cuz she's all along there at the vetty hospital at night, sick and scared. See you later then? ~~ Mannie

sounds like you have a great day planned before the blizzard hits! Hope the party goes great and Rusty gives you some good numbers today!!

For a fodd spike not a bad AMPs at all. I hope the weather stays clear for the party. It has been spring here for a while and I'm way behind on the gardening. So, soon for you too

Turned into a nice day for Rusty. Keeping himself busy exploring and learning how to open closets. Is your vanity secure? Have a wonderful party with the "baby" of your group. Thinking spring for you also.

OMG...I didn't realize you were that close to Plattsburgh. Was there once..FREEZING! Hope you are having a wonderful party. BTW...did you send my cinnamon cake...didn't get it yet :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sometimes when Baby takes her bath her sides are super wet too & I think to myself.. that tongue did that confused_cat

Thanks for visiting, guys! I'm sorry I didn't get to any condos today. Running around all day. Exhausted!! Rusty was a wonderful host at the party. He spent the whole time on his perch being congenial when he was admired. He didn't try to get into any contraband and was simply perfect. After the crowd left (21 people), he tore around the living room, into and out of his cube, spending all of his pent-up energy. Now we're going to bed.
