Good morning everyone,

Rusty and I just had a fine play with "Big Bug", one of his favorite toys from a few years ago that he hasn't played with in a long time. It is great to see him playing again. We also played with a mouse on a wand that his Auntie Lindabean gave him at New Years. Yesterday we had several good games with bell balls and catnip mice. We also had a good combing/brushing and a schmooze this morning, and the morning test-shoot-breakfast-lung treat routine went well. He seems to be more or less back from the partial fur shot/ inadvertent short shot he got yesterday morning. He's up on his radiator, expecting some of his friends to join him.

Much colder this morning. We are going to the landfill this afternoon. A fun day in the offing! My knee ached last night, undoubtedly from the exercise it got yesterday. It feels pretty good this morning.

Those of you in Olympics withdrawal might be interested in a program that is scheduled tonight on PBS: "Ice Warriors", a documentary about the USA sled hockey team who will play in the ParaOlympics.

Yo Kitties, come join me on my radiators this cold winter day. We'll have hot tuna toddies and cimmamum cookies and we can also go out and slide on the icy snow. Maybe a friendly curling match. I'm on the Blue Team this morning.

I remember Big Bug! How cool that he played with that today, it's always fun to see them return to what was once a favorite toy. Good job Rusty!

And a good BG start too! I always liked the blue starts - good number and room to move down with. Off to the lagoon for you today Rusty? :cool: it sounds like a very good day for Rusty so far. How enjoyable for all.

LOL on the landfill being a fun day.w ell, at least you can get out some. Be careful out there. I'm not too surprised to read that your knee ached some last night. expected I think since it did get some exercise yesterday. Good though that it feels good this morning. Soon it will be as good as new. :cool:

RUSTY! DUDE! We are coming! it is raining here and not much fun. We've been playing in Mannie's treehouse, but the ziplines are all soggy from the rains, and our fur is getting all soggy too. Snow sliding sounds like much more fun. OOOOOOOOOOO! Curling there too? We are so IN! See ya soon. Can we make lots of cookies? we are really hungry... Elsa, Lola and Bug

How fun on all the play this morning. I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon today. I'm glad your knee feels better.

It sounds like you and Rusty had a wonderful morning today!! It sounds like he has been feeling great and spunky and it's awesome to hear about him playing so much.

Well done Rusty - nice splashdown at the lagoon again. :mrgreen: It is so cool to see them play with their old toys again. :-D Sounds like a good morning overall. Take care on your knee today.

I was at the 2010 Paralympics sledge hockey gold medal game where the US team beat Japan to become the Paralympic champions. Fun game to watch!

We did have a nice visit to the landfill, which is actually a beautiful place and reminds me of the meadow in "The Sound of Music", with Whiteface Mt. in the background (instead of the Austrian Alps).

Rusty surfed the greens this afternoon and has a lower blue PMPS, so we are happy.
