I can not figure out why he sky rocketed? I had pancakes last night, maybe he licked the dish? he did have a furball?

eitherway, how long now til we can have the otj party?
thank you carl, mj and marje for saying the things i need to hear when i get out of controll in crazy pants panic mode. was losing it last night.
i have to go food shopping and run some errands but will be here for a +3 or +4. please let me know what everybody thinks?
really wanted to have the party today my bff (only friend) lol is going on vacation tomorrow and she's been so supportive i really wanted her to see it, but i am patient and trust the experts here.

Good morning Samantha. I hope you and Ruben will be able to declare Ruben officially OTJ and you can have the party before yor friend goes on vacation. Ruben's been working hard the last few weeks to get there.

Great! It's time to have an OTJ party! I let Carolyn know so hopefully she will see my PM soon.

Sam...it's going to be really, really important that you test him at least once a day for the foreseeable future. You can spot check...you don't have to always do an AMBG or PMBG. But you do need to do a minimum of one test each day. Let us know if his numbers start creeping up at all.

Once he's OTJ, you don't usually do a daily condo but you can do a weekly update or once a month...whatever you like. But again, if you see numbers creeping up, do a condo and ask for help.

so ruben has dark solid poo's today, hey, i'm happy he's going :razz:
i've been adding water to his food and i tried the squash and neither cat did well on it, im going to try the pumpkin but wanted to grab mirolax as a back up,
what kind should i get and how much should i give just to make them a lil softer and easier to pass?

I'm just curious.. Are you giving him any insulin at all, and if so, how much? I can't tell by reading Ruben's SS.

The PMPS +3 could be a food spike, or perhaps he found something that made him spike like that. His #s look great! :-D
