Big snow yesterday here in the desert. Eight inches plus at my house; I don't know how much at the Sanctuary. Half way there, slip sliding around, I got a call from my boss telling me the Sanctuary was closed to all but essential personnel (animal care folks) and even they were all asked to leave as soon as basic care was completed.

I'm animal care but I work at a private residence (one of the founder's homes) so I'm considered unessential. Got the car stuck turning around, couldn't get up either of the two hills leading to my subdivision. Couldn't piddle around by getting breakfast; forgot my wallet at home. A long, not at all pleasant morning!

Then Miss Polly! Good golly Miss Polly. I was all set to go up to 4.5 from 4.25 tonight. So what does Miss Conundrum do? She throws a dropping number, blue, at PMPS. So, I'll hold 4.25 another cycle. That's right, Polly, take away all my expectations. Keep surprising me. If she hits pink tonight I'll :banghead:.

Wow, 8", that's a LOT for you. That's about what we got, equivalent to 1.5" of rain. I've never shoveled such wet, heavy snow. How annoying to spend the morning driving in it for no reason. :facepalm: Nice blue tonight, Polly, but the bean is still twitchy...

Sheesh Marilyn, if it snows 2 inches around here, the cities shut down!! Sorry you got stuck and had a bad day..:bighug: C.mon Polly, make mamabean happy tonight- K??

Where do you live cuz I need to move there...here in MN we get 12 inches of snow, schools MAY consider closing...

What a beautiful start to a cycle there Ms. Polly, way to keep your mommabean on her toes :) Now be a save girl and don't do any cliff diving, ya hear?
 
At least it wasn't a head hitting surprise tonight. :rolleyes: Increase on tomorrow Polly!

Bummer on the snow stranding. Like Ruth's place, 2 inches is a disaster here. We are all wimps on the west coast.
