Yesterday, who'd believe, another fur shot. :banghead::arghh: And a day it's just as well she didn't get bacon. Thanks for the late visit Michelle - I was thinking of Mannie and your stories of him going after bacon.

2/23 Recap:
AMPS 151 +9 271
PMPS 304

Yup, only 3 tests yesterday. When Neko is going up into a pink preshot (or even high yellow), she's not doing anything interesting the rest of that cycle. Especially in fur shot recovery mode. So we all got a good sleep.

Today is a new day, sunny, and the excavator is off at the moment. Neko is snuggled in the newest of the beds, the one that last week neither cat was interested in. I'll disturb her sleep in an hour when we head off to acupuncture.

I never knew bacon was cured with sugar. The things on learn on the FDMB. I hope you see at least some blue this cycle. Maybe you will get another good night's sleep before the fur shot clears.

That really sucks about the Fur Shot yesterday morning, but thank goodness for a good nights sleep. I am starting to wonder if I will remember how I sleep through the night. I feel like I have a new born and have to get up for hourly feedings. And I have never had children. What we do for our Fur Babies, absolutely everything we possibly can.

Hope to day is much better than yesterday.

OK, Neko. So you got a fur shot. Big deal. Get over it! :)

She'll get there, Wendy. In the meantime, pokey breaks are kind of nice.

Marilyn and Polly

Slowly sliding down. We had the typical acupuncture session. She's good for most of it, but there's a few spots back there, that she's not so keen on being touched. Neko was active (for her) when we got back. I went out in the garden for a while, and she came out with me. First time she's been in the back yard since the workmen in the lot behind us ripped out our fence and put in the temporary one. She had to go take a look to see what's been happening.

@ Elise, Tina, Carla, Marilyn, Serryn - Another quiet day for the pokies, but tonight is looking better.

They ripped out YOUR fence? Worser and worser!!
Come on back down, Neko. Rusty was worried about you and decided to keep you company today. But both of you need to get back to the lagoon.

Still thinking of bacon, Wendy? Here they cure it with maple syrup.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

@Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) - They asked before ripping out the fence. They are putting in a retaining wall and it's easier to do without the fence there. They will replace the fence. What I'm annoyed at is that Mr. Excavator guy has likely killed one of our hemlock trees at the fence line by scraping off the roots on one side back to the tree itself. And we had asked them to be careful about the trees there. Not sure what this bacon was cured with - sometimes brown sugar is used too. Too tasty for Neko.

Hi Wendy :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Too fun on the thinking of Mannie and the bacon... He LOVED bacon.... :joyful:

oh wow on the fence ad the wall and the trees... I hope all comes out OK.

And Neko? Recovery time. Down you go.

have a great day Wendy. I hope all goes well.
