Murphy was doing great on a f1 unit but I had to decrease it - he was approaching green dives right at the time I need to leave to be with my Mom in the morning - so I decreased just a hair and he's high again

He may have to stay there for awhile - my Mom has been moved to a rehab facility but she isn't doing well at all - has barely eaten in 10 days and sleeps all the time instead of being able to do physical therapy At her age (late 90s) I'm coming to terms this will not end well
 
I'm sorry your mom is not doing very well. Don't worry about Murphy. He needs to stay safe so you can be with your mom. He'll get back on track. Sending more prayers for your family. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I'm sorry your mom isn't doing well, Carol. Yes, you need to keep Murphy from diving while you're out. So many things to balance around treating an FD kitty ... all we can do is try. :bighug:
 
I am so sorry that your mom hasn't improved much. I am continuing to send vines for her. :bighug::bighug:

...and Murphy will come back down - for right now, I would just take the higher numbers so you don't have to worry about him.
 
you have enough to worry about with your mom.. Murphy will be fine... sending prayers and love for you and your mom.. i am sorry its not getting better in the physio.. spend time with her... love her... enjoy this right now and try not to worry about tomorrow... :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
I'm sorry about your mom, Carol.
A drop of insulin used to make a huge difference with Eleanor. I was told here on FDMB that she was "drop sensitive". I can't really tell now except I do suspect one reason her numbers are all over the place is because with the syringes that are available now along with my eyesight I know I'm not getting a precise dose.

Sending thoughts and prayers for you -your mom and Murphy....

A drop can change a whole cycle for Dre too-try not to stress too much you will get Murphy back to lower numbers in no time. I really feel for you .... moms are so special:bighug:
