ETA and News Flash -- Mags just had prezzies at 6:00 am!!! :-D This was a once in a three dayer poo!!

Morning ~O) a sunny yellow, but almost blue start of the day. This is most likely food too close to the +10, and also Mags had some Merrick Cowboy Cookout which has a tendency to spike. Maggie's had a little blip with choices of food, too. I may need to take her back up a drop, but not today, as I'll be gone most of tomorrow morning when I'm usually around for testing. Mags seems to be feeling good, but only 4 P's, and the infamous Poo is MIA!! I guess she is doing a once every third day this time. :? Stay tuned Detective Poo for further updates.

Looking forward to my coffee fix, thanks to Mannie kitteh Barista. Mannie that pumpkin frosted scone you made yesterday was out of this world, hint, hint, thanks.
I need to do laundry first thing and then get papers ready to take somewhere this week for shredding. It's too much for my little shredder. I have my medical files starting 1982, Any idea how many years back we should keep -- is it five or ten years? I think it's forecast for a nice day here, so will squeeze in a walk, too.

I'm not much help on the shredding. sorry. I know you're supposed to keep taxes, etc. for 7 years. I have a tendency to keep "stuff" too long.
I hope you get the "housekeeping" stuff out of the way and enjoy a nice sunny walk.

Detective Poo here, hmm, I thought I would get a poo sighting this morning. Sending extra special poo vines for Mags today.

OT: I decided to keep all of my tax info so I can go back and check how much of my IRA is taxable and how much isn't.

Hi Detective Poo, oh my fault -- I put an ETA at the top of my condo, and it should have been at the bottom or separate post. Mags did have prezzies at about 6:00 am and after I wrote the condo. :-D
The prezzies were very soft just to get her to poo, which the Vet said is okay if it's what it takes for Mags to have a bm. I had to give her bottom a bath, which surprisingly Mags didn't seem to mind.

Thanks Mary and Ripley for visiting and for the vines. I think, too, all the tax info is good to keep and medical records, maybe just ten years.

it's 7 years that the irs tells you to keep records.... and if you itemize medical, you want that proof in your files Just in case they
ever say, "Tag ~ you're it! " :lol: :evil:

Hi Rhiannon, thanks and yes, :lol: :lol: a little nervous on the 3rd day. I think that's why it's so softy, as yesterday afternoon I started loading on the Miralax. Thanks on the 7 years for IRS and medical, too.

Green Lagoon!! :mrgreen: I wonder if having a poo helps her reach green. Yesterday she was on the third day no poo and had to feel blocked, and her numbers were on the high side for her.

Good luck on finding a shredding place. There is a small self-serve "machine" in one of my lcoal grocery stores. That made it easy when I needed to do as you are. They were medical records for my folks, who are long gone now. I'm not too sure on the amount of time to keep things. IRS is 7 years, and when I was working I worked in payroll/financials and our rule of thumb was 7 years too. For me I tend to keep things for 10 year, just to ave those records should I ever need them. I too have a tendency to keep things way too long.... :roll:

Good morning Ann. Nice slide into the Lagoon for Maggie. Maybe the threat of the Increase was all that Maggie needed.

Office Depot locally has a big shredder for public use. They give a discount if you do the actual shredding yourself. I'm not sure if that is a company wide policy or a local one.

Yay on that beootiful green :mrgreen: More yays on the nice soft poo. Sounds silly, I know, but since I have bm issues with Tux, I know how pleased a good one, makes you (Maggie, I mean :lol: ) feel.

My DH passed, in 1995. I guess I can get rid of all his tax papers now? :lol: Last time I shredded lots, I still didn't feel secure throwing it all in the trash, so I put some in the plastic bags with the dirty litter, every day, 'til it was all gone. :lol:

Well, that was a short swim in the Green Lagoon, but Mags enjoyed the short dip in her green kini! When I came back from doing laundry, Mags was on my kitchen chair. I have no idea how she climbed onto the chair. I guess she was looking for some food. I had some in her dish on the floor, so I brought the dish and placed it on the chair for her to eat. :lol: I guess I'm at her service!

Hi Michelle, thanks on the prezzies. It does seem every time we plan a dosecrease, the kitties decide to do good that day! :lol: I'm feeding one that is higher carb but meets the phosphorus, so I may need to adjust the dose to compensate for the carbs. Thanks on the shredding info.

Oh good! Detective Poo is very glad to get the updated report. :-D :-D :-D LOL at Barb's method of disposing of shredded paper. Someone would have to want it awful bad to sort through cat litter. :lol: :lol: :lol:

It looks like we have the same PMPS as AMPS. I think this is the food wars. I've tried going back to Cowboy and there's one other low phosphorus but is higher than norm in carbs.

Thanks Detective Poo and glad you saw the update poo on Mags. :-D I know, hysterical wih Barb's shredding method. :lol:

Hi Ann & Tess, she is being almost a rainbow kitty today. Yellow to blue to green to blue and back to yellow!
