AMPS 281 Libre

Well last night was QUITE a ride on dose #2 after an increase.

Ivy went snorkeling around 11 pm (+5) and dove all night. We had a few snacks into the night.
Eventually she read LO on her Libre and eventually the sensor went kaput:banghead:
(I fell asleep and didn't realize until around +9, 3:30 am)
soooo, I got up and replaced her Libre by 3:50 am, as I wanted it up and running by breakfast and shot time, around 6 am.

Sigh, maybe I got 2 hours of sleep (on the basement sofa), if that. 🥱🥱🥱

Hoping the depot stabilizes and we can stop with the limes and scuba diving 🙏🙏

Hope everyone has a very calm day with safe surfs and better weather for all.
We are digging out here after a big snow.

Someone was busy cleaning my kitchen cabinets this morning at 5:45 am 🙈

Wowza, what a PM cycle!! Sorry you didn't get much sleep AND that the libre failed in the middle of the night! I hope Ivy surfs safely and calmy for you tonight, so you can catch up on your sleep 😮‍💨🤗
 
Hi Staci, what a cute pic of Ivy, silly girl licking the cabinet. 😂. I hope you can catch up on some sleep tonight. We got 2 feet 6 inches of snow. What a freaking mess.
How much snow did you get. When it really started to snow hard I kept looking out the window and seeing how high it was getting, my truck driver's mouth came out ha ha.

My hip is still
hurting me. Went in Jan for the first follow up and they took and x ray and showed me before and after pics. But I still have a lot of stiffness
Went to Physical therapy for 2 months , they massaged my hip and put the stimulator on it. Not going anymore because I can do the 20 different exercises at home.
I see the surgeon again in March.

All of the back injections I had in the past didn't do crap. He did every kind there was.
MY hip surgeon, my pain management Dr that gave me all the injections in my back said hopefully your back will feel better after the hip surgery. Well I had no back pain at all for 3 or 4 weeks.

I was using the walker and I was really pushing down hard on it when I walked. They said you should just use it for balance. So then my shoulders, my arms, my shoulder blades and neck are just killing me.
The Dr that did my rotator cuff surgery back in 2024 gave me an injection lidocaine and prednisolone about 2 weeks ago, didn't help.

I have been using a cane for the last month , trying to let everything heal. He said I strained all my muscles.

My back is killing me, It's a different pain than before, when he did all those injections. I do have 2 bulging discs and some osteoarthritis.
The pain is more like strained muscles from using the dam walker.
Maybe he can give me some trigger point injections. He better try something

All I have been doing is ice and heat all day long every day

I am going to call the Dr that gave me the injection in my shoulder and tell him I want to see him again.
All 3 doctors I go to are all in the same office. I have the appointment with the pain management doctor and the hip surgeon in March. Going to call my shoulder surgeon and make an appointment to see him.
Maybe I can kill 2 birds with one stone and see 2 of them on the same day. Maybe all 3 can take me I'll have to see.

I know I haven't been on the board , it's just that I don't have the mindset to hop on it

Once in awhile I will check on the kitties.
I miss all of you. Hopefully I'll get some answers after I see my doctor's.
I am so sick of going to Dr visits. Besides those 3 I see my primary on March 3 routine blood work, then March 6 my cardiologist routine check up for my A-Fib.
Today I went to see my vascular surgeon .
Went for a cat scan of my chest to be sure the thoracic aorta anyourism didn't get bigger. It stayed the same size
I go for another cat scan in a year. Those type of anyourism's grow very slowly .

My sister and her husband have been taking me to all my visits. I drive for the first time last week just 4 blocks to the grocery store, my sister came with me.
I think when I have to go to doctor's on the highway I'll let them take me.
My brother in law is retired so it gives him something to do lol.
My nephew, my sister's son helps me out too.

They cleaned the snow off my car when we had the first snow fall.


They say in a couple of days we will be in the low 40's and Sat 50, then I see back to the 30'' one day even in the 20's
I Google Accuweather for Lyndhurst N.J. and look there , usually I tap Daily
Hopefully a lot of it will melt.

Hi Diane, thanks for checking in and for the update. I’m so sorry to hear things have been so painful and stressful since your surgery 😢
I really hope you will soon recover and things will start to fall into place.
I’m so glad your sister and family are close by and able to help in many ways 🥰

It will be nice to get past all this cold and snow ⛄️
I’m so ready for Spring too!
