Doodles 2/13 I don't expect much from Doodles for another cycle or two but at least he kept the stinky pinks away yesterday. We might see them today if NDW decides to show it's ugly head. His grooming appt. is canceled. It's still in the 40's at night and barely hitting 60 during the day. I don't want him to be cold so we'll reschedule in a few weeks.

Second order from Mark's where the tracking information was wrong. It still says delivery is expected today. Well it came yesterday but my house is gated so they couldn't deliver it with signature required. Now I need to find out where his insulin is.

Surf safely kitties, eat your fuds and be good to the beans.

Come on Doodlebug, work the juice! We know you can do it!
You have the same problems ordering stuff from Canada that I have ordering stuff from the US.

Ugh. Sorry about the frustration with the insulin delivery. I had mine delivered without needing a signature because I couldn't stay home for the delivery. I hope you can get it today.

A few more weeks of Doodles fuzz is not a bad thing. He is just so super cute!!:cat:

Have a good day Karen

They told me if I do that the insulin could get delayed in customs, so arrival would be a few days later.
That is what they told me too. I have mine delivered to my work - there is always someone that can sign for it in the mail room. Also, if it is delayed over the weekend (in Houston) - at least it will be in the A/C (post office).

Karen, next time you order call and talk with Rita - explain what has happened. She will take care of the issues and follow up with you. I also asked for the extra packaging and ice packs ($10 extra) - it was going to be in the 80's here by the time it arrived. :banghead: I tried to time it so that wouldn't be the case but trying to predict Texas weather a week in advance is a roll of the dice.

NDW stay away. Ugh on the tracking of your insulin. Hope they will retry to deliver today.

I can't believe our weather is warming than yours!

Doodles, so you will have your gorgeous mane a little longer. I must admit you do rock the lion cut though.

In NJ and it's warm, never thought I would need summer clothes in February.

I've never groomed a cat before. Do you shave because of matts or the weather? I thought the fur protected them from both cold and heat like dogs. Am I wrong ? I hope you locate the insulin. That is disturbing! I received it early and late but US packages come the same way, sometimes early, sometimes late. Frustrating when it's meds. :bighug:

I've been having him groomed from the beginning. In NJ he just got a bath and a sanitary (butt shave). Here in AZ, it's too hot for him and Doodles just likes to be super clean. The boy is so happy after his bath. They tell me he splashes around in the tub water.

Looks like I can pick up the insulin at the post office this morning IF the tracking is correct.

I never had to sign a waiver and I have never had to sign. Fritz insulin is delivered to all different addresses all year long. I have had excellent service from Marks. Sorry your experiencing troubles.
Glad you put off Doodles shave poor guy needs his fur after all he lives in Alaska Haha! This is a really cold wet winter feels and looks like Washington winters.
Have a great day Karen!

How's your Dad doing Paula? Enjoy the fluke of warm weather :)

He is doing okay. Me well I'm on auto pilot right now. I'm suppose to meet his lady friend (in NJ) tomorrow. Didn't know he had one. Should be interesting. She seems to know a lot of stuff that's going on. I will be here 2 more days, already up to 10 bags of garbage. Garbage men will not like me. Not counting the stuff that is to big to bag. Occasionally he mentions coming back home so still can't call a hauling company yet.

Hope you're getting some sleep with all this going on. Glad he's doing OK and could imagine he'd want to go home. It's so hard :bighug::bighug::bighug: Good luck meeting his lady friend...companionship is good.

My first few orders I never had to sign, the last one I did, not sure why.

My last order, which was a big one, I missed the postman, but had seen him in the neighborhood, I hunted him down and got my package. Helps that we know the mailman and he is a cat guy too! Glad I was able to grab it from him since it was warm at the time and another day in the Florida heat would have had me questioning the insulin a bit.

Good info on waiving the signature potentially creating a customs delay. Will file that one away some where in the brain.

I hope Doodles starts working it and that his insulin shows up soon! Yep, it's in the mid-70s here....it is gorgeous! Have a great day, Karen!

Time to work the new dose Doodles... but gently... our GA Seth loved water... if you left the bathroom door even open a crack when you showered he would open the door and come into the shower and stand under you getting rained on lol... hope you have a great day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I don't remember ever having to sign for a package from Mark's... but, then again, that may just be a sign that my brain is a bit foggy. I hope you can track down the package.

I also order from Mark's Marine and recently it was changed that you now have to sign for the delivery or risk it being delayed if you request to deliver without a signature required. And the tracking online is also screwed up, always a day behind. I have become friends with our mailman, he now knows it is insulin, and if I am not home for the delivery, he will still leave the package along with the slip for me to sign. It pays to know your postman! LOL :)

I didn't know about the pens when I ordered and I got 2 vials of Lantus, so it will be a while before I have to do it again... but I had a similar issue! I spoke with one of the pharmacists to make sure it wouldn't arrive before 12/19, since I was moving on 12/17 and wouldn't be there to sign. Of course, 12/17 is when it came and I wasn't there to sign. 12/18 was a Sunday and I had to go back to the old apartment on 12/19 to clean it before handing in the keys >_<. Fortunately, my dad lives nearby and he picked it up on 12/19.

Good luck with the increase, I hope he starts seeing more greens and blues soon.
