Yesterday's Condo
Just a quick note before I go get changed for bowling. Took Harvey in for his bloodwork and urine test following up on the UTI. He complained the entire 1.25 hour drive there. According to his favorite vet tech, Jean, he was a very good boy for her, even though she had trouble getting enough blood out of him. He only complained about half the time on the trip home, despite my stopping for a sandwich and for gas on the way. I'll get the results tomorrow, but I think they'll be good.
Cinco was such a flat kitty yesterday. I appreciated it, as I was engrossing in the Daytona 500 (which my favorite driver won - woo hoo! :RAHCAT ). I was gone most of the day today, so don't know if he went lower than 177, but I'm still pleased with those numbers. At least I didn't feel like I had to worry about him while I was gone. Since we're going out of town for five days later this week, I'm perfectly happy with where his numbers are now. I will worry about trying to get them lower when we get back, but I feel comfortable leaving him as he is now. I just had to jump up and go out in the living room to see what was up, because he was doing the most unnerving howling. He was just standing in the middle of the entry hall. My other cats like to howl there, too - it's a two story hall so I guess they like the echo. He sounded awful, but he was just fine. I don't mind - I love seeing him up and moving around and being vocal instead of sleeping in his hidey hole all day.
Didn't have much time for visiting today, and may not over the next couple days as I get ready for our little trip to Phoenix. I'll try to at least read some when I can while I'm gone, even though I may not post.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG:
