That LITTLE #$*@ING ASSHOLE jumped up on the couch right in front of me and started pissing on it less than 5 minutes after I gave him treats! The sleep deficit keeps building and I just cannot deal with this right now.

Ugh! Naughty Chino. Neko did that as a young cat. We adopted her at age 11 months, and when the first spring came by, she wanted to go out. I had wanted her to be an indoor kitty. But she started peeing on our bed, including in front of us. For a while we had to close the bedroom door on her during the day.

Any way you can lock Chino in a bathroom or other room where pee isn't a danger for the night. Put his litter box, bed and food in there of course. Behaviourly, he needs to start using the litter box again.

Both cats share a large litterbox that sits on the (screened) patio. I had 2 at one point but got rid of it when I moved because they only ever used the same one. But I do have one for emergencies I can set up in the bathroom. Thank you for the suggestion.

I've heard a rule of thumb of one litter box per kitty, plus one. With Neko and one civie at one point I had 5 litterboxes. It's hard in an apartment to find places for all. I hope you can get some sleep tonight. :bighug:
