good morning lantuslanders!

i keep screwing up and losing my post.

the +3 tells me my little thief was rousted early in the kibble foray yesteday, thank goodness...he's a happy prancing boy this morning...keeping a eagle eye on the bedroom door. Don't get your hopes up, buddy...the girls will be fed canned indoors, but from now on, Annie Fannie will indulge the dry foods on the patio.
decided to get around my forgetfulness with sneaky placement of dishes. suppose that will mean return visits from the raccoon...but we don't mind.

4 p's present so far, and in honor of his new nickname, a snippet of a song some of you may recognize...
others of you may be too young...

Elfie huh? I have got to go back and check condos! I'm glad the B Boy is back down and no doubt proud of himself!

Did Binkster get into the dry kibble? Oh boy, I learned at the last place I lived that raccoons love cat food. If they can't find any one day, don't be surprised to see a head peering in your window asking "where's my kibble?"

I wouldn't let Annie eat anywhere that a raccoon hangs out or may poop. They carry nasty pathogens and ring worm that can be caught by cats easily. Can you feed her in the bathroom instead?

I used to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary hand rearing baby racoons. Once I looked up ringworm, I stopped feeding the racoons out here and stopped working with them. I did not want to risk Maverick getting ill again.

well, hello!!!

he was zooming around trying to get annie to play with him, and i decided to test...

i agree... one of the neighbors trapped a raccoon...but there are others around...and i don't want them hanging out anywhere near the cats.

i put Annie's dish up on a shelf that Binks can't get to...and as soon as this bag of kitty crack is gone, she's going to have to eat the good stuff...

i think she'll get the hang of it if we have some alone time to feed her...

Well, if Mannie is the Rainbow Bandit, Binks is the Kibble Bandit (slash pudding bandit, slash fried rice bandit....)
