I do love the :mrgreen: icon, even when it's after a big drop and it's early in the cycle and he's not all that keen to eat. :roll: This dose is agreeing with him. No outside time this morning but lots of bird watching from the 2nd level of Versailles and now napping there. All seems fine.

OT: So I'm a little punk now, hope it doesn't get worse but I'll be spending a lot of time in my recliner doing crossword puzzles and drinking hot tea. Thank you for the suggestions of remedies. I am wondering where Anne has hid the vaporizer. I've searched the whole house and haven't found it. We had it running last night in the living room... Kitties?

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Sending condolences to Ann and Tess on the passing of DM. Have a great Caturday, LL.

Hi Liz, looking there good for Zener, and that sure is an early drop. Oh I thought Anne was the one who was sick, or did you just get sick lately? I'm behind on the condos, but I'm usually good with Zener's condo. Anyway, sending vines for healing and feeling better. Sounds like a plan with the recliner and hot tea. Only thing I'd recommend is adding a little whiskey for medicinal purposes. :-D I just take Zicam and Vit. C.

Anne taking over for Liz who has gone to buy a new vaporizer. ;-) Zener did not hide the vaporizer. :cool:

When sick night duty bean (Anne, that's me) got in bed last night, I realized I had forgotten to unplug the vaporizer. Got up and went to unplug and could not pull the plug out of the extension cord, the metal prongs had melted the extension cord plug! :shock: The whole darn thing was almost too hot to touch and there was a hot spot on the carpet! :o I unplugged the extension cord and took the entire cord, vaporizer and all outside in the cold and left it there.

I thought for a few minutes about not getting up and letting it stop when it ran out of water. Good thing, I managed to get my germy self up. And after all the drama, I forgot to leave a note for the early morning duty bean (Liz). :roll:

@Bruce & Simon - mystery solved and explanation found! :razz: Appy still iffy this morning but he ate a lot last night.

@Ann & Maggie - Zener is looking very green and keeping his beans alert. I imagine we would both be sleeping if he wasn't dropping so early in the cycle. It seems I have shared my germs with Liz. She seems about the same today as last night so maybe it won't hit her quite as hard as me. She is also better about following treatment directions. ;-) You are welcome for the pictures!

@carla - thanks for the healing wishes, neither one of us does sick very well. Still iffy appy, but the drop has slowed a little. :smile:

Ugh, this bug is dragging on. Word from friends is that it lasts a week. :evil: We keep asking the kitties to make us tea and hot soup, no action yet.

Guess I need to send some yummy Tortilla soup ( chicken, posole, green chili, tortilla strips, and monterrey jack cheese sprinkled on top)
that green chili always feels good when you aren't.

Dang! Good thing you caught that vaporizer before it vaporized your home - permanently! I love the big green smiley, too. I still think we need a blue one - I think those are cause for celebration, too. I'm far too lazy to go find one on the internet. Hope you both get to feeling better soon! Zener is looking great!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! (for so many reasons!) PMPS...67! :shock: :mrgreen: WHEE!!!!! Anne, so glad you decided to get up and check that vaporizer! Holy moly! And lastly, both of you...sick?! Sending healing vines to both of you! Get better and give Z man scritches for his pretty 67! Happy Caturday!

Whew on the vaporizer! :o Who thought they could get so hot. You think there would be an automatic shut off. I'm glad it ended well.

Neko's muttering something about getting kitties together to make a big vat of chicken soup. Healing vines to both of you.

Sorry to hear that you are both sick, but OMG on the vaporizer. Sometimes getting out of bed is worth it!

The Z-man is on a roll today I hope his appy improved tonight so neither of you have to stay up too late.
