Stinky pinky and now sunny yellow this morning. We're ready for these pinky flat yellow cycles to come down some. Dosecrease in the works this weekend, if they don't. :twisted:

Success with poo patrol this morning! The combo of the Zantac and Miralax seem to be doing the trick, and Zener is now regular and with healthy looking poo consistently, for the first time since he went on ABs before his dental in December. Wahoo! :-D

Roofer report - still there this morning but no longer on the side of the roof that faces our backyard. So, the kitties don't see them anymore but there is still a racket, so no one on yard patrol after the noise started. We are pretty certain today is the last day. :roll:

Lots of healing energy to Sid, Morgaine and other kitties and beans in need. Hope it is a good Fursday in LL!

That's a nice +3 drop. Maybe he'll get a little more action out of this cycle. Think blue Zener! Good poo report! That's a long time coming. We're going to adding a bit of miralax to Weezer's regime too.

@Linda - we were hoping the +3 might be a sign of things to come like something in blue. There is good news though on the poo and appy front so that's something to smile about! :-D We started Zener on 1/8t twice a day, then increased to just a tad more and that seems to be the right amount for him. I know there are several people here in LL that use a little more and it may depend on the weight/size of the kitty. Zener weighs just a whisker over 11lbs currently.

Now that Zener's appy seems to be improved again, we are going to work on getting his % carbs a little lower once more. Maybe the combination of this dose and the lower carbs will get some movement. And if not, a dosecrease is in the near future. ;-)

I'm glad the Miralax is helping. Your poo patrol make me glad Tess is an indoor cat! :lol: :lol:

@Devon - we were hoping for blues, and there's always tonight's cycle, starting at a promising PMPS. :-D

@Ann & Tess - you are so right - yellow is better than stinky pinky! Zener is mostly an indoor cat and goes out in our fenced yard only when we are home. Because of his CH, he can't jump or climb so all is quite safe, except for when the skunks or raccoon come to visit. Doing his backyard tours is his exercise therapy. He much prefers doing his business in the dirt too, rather than the litter box. ;-)


The move to a little bit lower carb is in progress and he is eating it fine for now. Paws crossed this continues. :razz:

Hi Anne, glad to hear Zener is on major yard patrol, back on duty! Good with the poo and appy, too. Thanks for that cool pic on our condo. Mags is listening. That's a nice PMPS and lots of room for good numbers, or Zener, dosecrease threat. Sometimes the threat works. Have a good night.

We decided since his drop at +2 was over 50, to see if we can slow the express train with a drop of karo. We got him on the 9% carbs today and were afraid if we went back up to 11%, we might interrupt our "experiment" of getting him on lower carb food, thus the drop of karo. We've had some luck in the past manipulating this with the karo rather than switching foods. Will be testing again in another hour.

@Ella - isn't he looking grand? Yard patrol was very successful, perimeter secured. ;-) Zener is eating the decreased carbs 9% very well, has hardly missed a lick. :lol: And thankfully, those noisy roofers are gone! We'll take any extra snow you have. First fires started already and it's only Feb - 150 acre grass fire just west of us, under control.

@Marje - life is good tonight - roofers gone, healthy poo, good appy with lower carb food and BLUE!

@Roni - we love Zener in blue, very handsome!

Of course, it's a night of blues and still dropping since I have a class at 7:45 in the morning. And I don't mind staying up for more tests one little bit! :-D
