What a night! I know I have no say in this, but would it kill him to like the 70s as much as he likes the 50s?!? Fed mostly raw with a tsp of 8% this morning. Thanks to everyone who had a pj party with us last night!!

Willie is a happy furry purry boy. Skin looks great... only a couple tiny spots of scabbing remain. Lots of playing last night. He is growing very tired of ear pokes. I lure him over with the promise of pets only to pick him up. I get a "hey, you tricked me... dis not kewl!!" holler, though the pure bites we bought this weekend seem to be helping a little.

Office party over lunch today and I am responsible for getting the cake, so I've got to be out the door by +2.5 today. Plus, I won't be able to come home over lunch. Thoughts on what to leave out today? I've got a little bit of everything from raw and 0% to 18%.

BTB to sneak an hour of sleep... this bean is tired!! Have a great day, LL!

Willie is doing awesome, how exciting. Of course being exhausted isn't so exciting. Hope Willie stabilies in those safe-you can get some sleep-numbers.

Good morning! It really makes me grin to hear that Willie's skin is healing and he is playing and being your purry boy!! So wonderful. He looks beautiful in green, but what a night he gave you! At least you will have that cake to sugar you up and awake for the afternoon at TBP! :lol: No food advice here, just stopping in to say hi, give Willie a few "good kitty!" scritches, and a bump. I'd decide on food based on where Willie's numbers are right before you leave. If he's still surfing like he did last night, maybe leaving some raw and some 8% would keep his numbers where you want them. If his +2 is way lower than his AMPS, leave more like a MC or HC food out.

Wow, is Willie ever looking great! Such wonderful numbers! And it is fine news that his skin is healing. Good luck with leaving some food out (do you have an auto feeder?). Enjoy your party. Willie will be fine as long as he has something good to eat.

Morning! I agree with Sienne - it is what I would do. Good luck - Willie will be fine when he has food to eat. What a glorious string of cycles for WIllie. all that green! It is so good to to read that he is healing up, that his play has returned. Awesome!

Thanks everyone! So tired right now... not even a jumbo McD's sweet tea could get my normally decaffeinated butt in gear today. Taco pizza and cake were good, though! Wishing I could go home for a nap!! :)

Willie got a nice little bounce up this morning so I left him a mix of raw and 8%. He has gotten really good about not scarfing for the most part (the day of 5 breffis notwithstanding), so when I leave, I leave out two small bowls, one that I put in front of him, and the other I put in a specific spot. Each gets put on a gel ice pack that I've frozen with the bowl on it so that it will be stable. Helps to keep the food at a safe temp since it is raw. I also have used kitty cubes, but I didn't make any last time I made food. Now that I'm doing some mixing of carbs into his food, it is probably better that I don't.

Just realized tonight is the last night for the Baytril. Woo hoo! No more ABs!!

Thanks for the advice and well wishes this morning! I'll be around to visit condos this evening!!

I know how you're feeling Christie. I did that with Choco on Monday night. Tuesday was a loooong day at work. I hope you will be able to go home and get some sleep tonight. Take care. Go Willie!!! :mrgreen:

Willie is doing fantastic!! Moonie has had skin problems over the yrs..Feline acne, has always been her weak spot, and I had to wash her with special soap every day..She also got infection once & was on ab's- Boy does she hate that! But they did help! Glad today is last AB's day!

The surf is still on! My dear sister stopped by today and got in a spot check for me, though I forgot to warn her about the learning curve for the Advocate meter. She ended up busting out the Relion instead.

Managed to get myself in for a massage tonight. It's close to home, so I'll be gone from +0.25 to +1.75 or so. Will be home in time to catch any real action and will give a little extra 8% at shot time just in case. I figure I earned it last night. :)

Is it wrong that I was secretly relieved by this bump... even if alarmed by the quickness of it? Massage over, now settled in with a glass of wine and a bowl of crisp roasted fingerling potatoes and am watching Top Chef before heading to bed.

Taco pizza is a distinctly midwestern phenomenon. The best ones involve a base of refried beans and taco sauce, cheddar jack cheese, and sausage, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and (if you're in eastern iowa or western illinois) crushed doritos. More taco sauce on top. Not salsa... taco sauce. It is so wrong on so many levels, and yet I love it. Left overs are terrible though, unless the restaurant keeps the lettuce and doritos on the side. Otherwise, when you reheat, the lettuce and doritos get icky.

oohhhh..now...i don't like pizza much, but IZZY's Taco Pizza in Vancouver WA is delightful!!

looks like you can get some rest tonight...but WOWZA, Wee Man! nice run, buddy!
