Good Morning Everyone,

It's a beautiful winter day here, -9 degrees F. with brilliant sunshine. I'll be out skiing from approx. +4 to +9, but Edward and Rusty will hold the fort. Rusty had a good night and ate all his nighttime food. This morning we had a good test and shot, and he ate his first sitting of breakfast, lounged by the radiator, and we played a bit with Big Bug (but he was not really in the mood for vigorous play; mostly it was mental play--with observation and strategy). He and DH will have more games later. Yesterday evening I put the fat back on Rusty's dose (fat 0.5) after 2 cycles of "regular" 0.5. I think I finally "get it" after reviewing posts by Libby and Sienne. Thanks guys!

Healing vines to all ailing kitties today. Feel better!

Good morning guys .. -9! Yikes! I hope you have a nice time out skiing and I hope Edward and rusty have a nice time playing this afternoon .. Hopefully the extra juice is what rusty needs .. have a great day guys!

Rusty, dude, you look awesome! Great AMPS! Ella, you are quite possibly the most cheerful bean on earth when it comes to cold. I do not know how you do it! Brrrrrr!!!!

There's no one here to watch my kitties. Maybe I will just go sit in the freezer section of my refrigerator and pretend that I am with you.

seems to be coming down pretty fast. Hope he levels off and surfs. Edward has instructions to watch him carefully and give MC if needed. Too bad he can't test!

Enjoy your skiing today - it sounds like prefect weather. We have snow this morning - wow, amazing, and unusual for us. A couple of more feet in the mountains, a dusting for us. They say it should snow on and off through tomorrow. Hooray for us that are home (I feel for the commuters) and can go and play in it.

I know on wishing the DH's could test. Mine can't either. Oh well - it all works out.

I think the weather agrees with Rusty though.. he continues to do O so well.. swell ;-)

Hi again, Edward and Rusty had a good day with lots of playtime and a good brushing. When I got home and tested at +8.5, his bg was the same as +3.5!. What, if anything, happened between the two 69s, only Rusty knows! Anyway, Rusty was so happy to see me and made sure I played some more with Red Ears and him by dragging Red Ears by his string over to the couch. So we played and had a good time.

The ski was lovely, on an old woods road near a pond named "Slush Pond". Lots of animal tracks to decipher.

Awwww I love that Rusty was really happy to see you. That made me smile.

Guess there's no demand for heated car seats in Florida huh?
