OOOOOOOOOOO! PRIMO! Only the best for all my customers.... OOOOOOOOOO! OH! Tea infusions too, by request. They is primo too! I SWEAR! Today: caramel hazelnut chai!

Yesterday was..... another bounce day, after a glorious run into the blues the night before. He had a great blue surf that night. Yesterday morning's amps, though not great, weren't on the moon,. He saved those numbers for his normal spike times. I hope we can get him to settle even more, just a nice even blue cycle would be so great. Dosecrease is back on the table Mannie. It is good though that the severity of the bounces seems to be lessening. I need to check with the IM vetty and see how long we need to wait before we have the results in from his recent tests for Cushings.... I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D It was a cold and wet and very windy day here in the PNW... a stay in bed and sleep day. And so Mannie did. We did have a few moments of Mannie lore though... cool stuff! Yesterday Mannie had been sleeping on his nanners when it was time for one of his tests. As he left the pile to come for his test, we both could see Elsa of in the distance, watching. She did come over to nanner play, Mannie didn't stop her, once again let her, and came into the kitchen for his test. What was fun was that once tested he went back into the living room, a straight beeline right to the nanners, and spent the next 30 minutes reclaiming them all. No way was he letting them smell like his sister. They all got a bath. :lol: :lol: :lol: While I was dishing up fuds last night Mannie and Elsa were waiting next to each other. He wanted to move, she was in the way, and WHACK! Elsa got a paw-full :lol: :lol: :lol: It has been AGES since we have had any sort of a whack-a-thon. Somehow that was great to see. Appy has been good (picky !!!, but good), CPC yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: I think I can still say: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! It will be catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry, cleaning... My son and I will be spending a portion of the afternoon at a local swim meet, as a long time friend of ours will be here coaching his team. It should be fun!

Hey everybody! Guess wast!! Rusty is going to NYC again! I can hardly wait!!!! I thinks he will be there tomorrow... So maybe we can have a good relaxing day on the beach, play some beach volleyball and then maybe head to the big city and greet him when he gets there. What'd'ya think? you guys in? Very nice Mannie report...so funny about "de-Elsa-ing" his nanners :lol: !!! Hopefully he'll work on breaking that bounce, and hopefully you'll get news from the IM vetty soon!

Morning Michelle ~O) hope Mannie clears that bounce but safely so you and your son can enjoy the swim meet, sounds like a nice time. How neat that there was a whack-a-thon today between Mannie and Elsa. :lol: That has been a while and and that's another sign of Mannie feeling good. I hope your weather is better today. Neat pics of DGS underwater; I saw some yesterday and will check out this link. He's so happy when swimming and underwater and even with eyes open. :-D

Hey Mannie, it will be sunny here if you all want to come to the beach in SD. Lots of room for volleyball on the beach, as the Cali humans here think it's too cold on the beach. We'll have a lot of soace to ourselves. Oh, I think Rusty is on his way to NYC today, so we'll just have a short time on the beach, Mags

Funny about the nanners. I made socknips and have kickers for the girls and the other night, Maui found them and went crazy over it. I haven't seen that kind of play in ages. The socks are always out and ignored. Nice to see new action going with them.....

When you come to NYC, be sure to pack your rain gear! It's raining out and supposed to be all weekend long!

And why did you make my bean cry? She is sitting there with her Mannie's special delivery and is crying. Did you let a drooler at her tea? And is asking about skones and cressents and says she needs something to nibble! I'm staying far away, because knowing my bean, she may try to nibble on me! And I'll not have that. So, whatever you did, would you please not do it again......thanks.....

Hi Courtney ~O) ~O) ~O) I so voe those whack-a-thons. They used to be the norm here - every morning when BJ was still with us. She was the ringleader, always started them and then the rest joined in. Quite the circus here in the mornings. :lol: :lol: I can so see her at the bridge whacking everyone. :lol: :lol: :lol: It was great to see Mannie let Elsa have it, even if it was just once. :-D :cool: THX on the blues - so do I, soon!

Hi Michelle,

Loved the story about Mannie not wanting the nanners to smell like his sister, and then whacking her. Zeus and Smokey do that stuff too :smile: I hope Mannie decides to slide down from those pinks... Zeus was up there too last time I tested. Fingers crossed that they both come down.

Kismet says he'd like to cook for Mannie for a change. Kismet recommends Vaca Frita, arroz con frijoles negros, y plantanos... (shredded steak sauteed with onion, black beans and rice, and fried plantains) yum yum! A nice cafe con leche (Cuban latte) or cortadito (Cuban espresso) and choice of dulce de leche (caramel milk cake) or flan to follow.

Hi Kathie - Yupp - that nanner story is so Mannie. A few months back before all this illness with him started he would guard those nanners. No way was any other kitty allowed to play with them. He 'd always know when they tried, and would come running to defend is stash. I can remember one summer day when he was outside in the yard Elsa tried to sneak in some nanner time. I could see Mannie outside, and the moment she went for it his head perked up, ears moved forward, and it was a mad dash into the house to defend his stash. What a hoot that was. so yes - no sister smell allowed! I to hope the boys come down from the rafters - no fun up there guys!

I loved the story of the whack-a-thon's, especially since I know they are a favorite of yours. I hope you got out in this sunshine today. It sure felt good!

Morning Ann ~O) WOO HOO! A big green smilie! What a ride last night... now this morning? a huge bounce. what a bummer, all the way to the alpha zone. My poor kitty, that can't feel good. well I hope he comes down soon.

Hi Ann - yeah, do you believe it? a very nice green surf for a bit. loved it! not so much the bounce this morning though. oh well, hope he comes down sooner than later.
