I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was good, kinda mellow, but kinda busy too, Well, the morning was. I did get the shopping done, and the laundry and even filed my taxes.  Hooray on the tax thing. I am so glad that is DONE! :-D :-D :-D The afternoon was just mellow and relaxing, really didn't so much at all. WOOT! We did get some snow!   it started about 8 or so, fell til about 2 and then was done. It didn't stick to anything, just looked darn cool falling from the sky. My kind of snow. I don't think we got out of the 30's yesterday, maybe 39 tops. I did go for a walk, but sure didn't stay out long. I simply could not get warm, my hands just hurt the whole time I was out. well still an ok time out. It continued to rain once the snow stopped, looks like it will be that way through today. I did take some hots, most just shots of how the rains affected everything. I love water, and how it changes the appearance of things. It was a very nice, cold but nice, walk through Meadowdale yesterday. It was a good day yesterday, things got done, the rest was relaxing, and I even got out some.

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were GOOD kitties yesterday, even Lola. Well, sorta on Lola.... Lola will always be Lola. She was one wound up crazy cat yesterday. The runs are always a constant thing here, but wow on yesterday. She flew through the house, careening around corners, sliding on the kitchen floor, flew over furniture, stopping at times to pound on any available glass surface.. NUTS! She'd finish up with a wide legged stance all wide eyed and bushy tailed, with this loud MEOW! Crazy cat! Bug and Elsa were visibly thinking: I SO DO NOT KNOW HER!.... She was a good girl though after shopping, and made sure she played in the paper bag like she should. love that part, Bug showed up to help her. Elsa had better things to do, or so she said, and went off to nap. Smart girl. Last night there was this marathon to beat all marathons. I went to tell Lola to slow it down a bit and imagine my surprise when I saw it was Elsa chasing Bug!    Incredible - I didn't think the old girl had it in her.  She only ran for a few minutes but wow on those few minutes! Masters level! Our wet weather continues, so Bug and Elsa continue to hibernate. I can't say that I blame them! This morning Lola is camped out on my lap, sounds asleep, purring.... Such a sweetie she can be. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... to the shore if it isn't too cold, or wet, out there. My Son's DGF has a swim meet she is competing in today, so I am off to watch some of that. Should be fun! I am looking forward to watching her race. I think I will go for the start (even though she races near the end), maybe even go early and check out another park near the beach one Nicholas and I go to, see what it is like. Fun things to do today! :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Hi Michelle,
I was just catching up on yesterday's condo and videos which would have been your Friday with the boys. Wow, so impressive with Nicholas and his underwater swimming. Are you underwater swimming along with Nicholas or above water, but with the camera in the water? You've captured such great pics and videos of him. He will be way ahead when he starts swim classes or if he needs them. Precious pics of William and getting big, too. I hope Spring is just around the corner. I'm not sure what's going on here in Southern CA, as we are still in full time summer mode. It is unreal our weather, no complaints though.
That is so cute with Elsa chasing Bug. She is amazing. I think Lola and Bug are keeping her young.
Elsa, thanks for 10 Hour and Triple Espressos. You delivering pizzas today? I'll take three loaded with extra cheese and lotsa mushrooms, thanks from me and my neighbors. :-D

Oh, I'm glad to see Elsa today! ~O) ~O) . I'm so jealous you have your taxes done...I have to wait for my T4. As usual, work announced they will "send them out" on the 28th, waiting until the very last day. So annoying! .

It's so sweet to see senior kitties do something like run! I'm glad she was feeling frisky. It probably surprised Bug too :o  . Enjoy your day, and good luck to the DGF on the race!

Those pictures are so neat. I like seeing how the rain changes things too. How funny that Elsa was chasing Bug. It's great she still has that spunk. Enjoy the swim meet.

Hi Michelle, I loved looking at your rain pictures. What a fertile landscape Meadowdale is! And all those signs of early spring (pre-spring?) are beautiful. I'm glad you got out even if it was cold and wet.

Lola is being Lola, but it looks like Elsa is catching some of Bug and Lola's spirit. Go Elsa! And thanks for my favorite Ethiopian espresso.

Have a great evening,

Ella & Rusty

Afternoon Michelle. I just had to pop in and see how the Seattle weather is doing. We got the snow today. Our crocuses have white blankets on them now. But it's fairly wet and I imagine it won't last. I do agree with you, it is pretty to watch.

Too funny on Elsa chasing Bug. I love it when the older ones find that burst of energy. I hope the swim meet was fun.

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I have spent mine at a Masters Swimming meet, where my son's DGF was racing. What a grand time! She did well, best times I believe. It was fun to hangout with her mom and dad, and my son too. Before I went tot her meet I went to check out the park near the beach park where I take the boys. The new park was nice, but predominately wetlands and marshes, and not too many places where I could turn the boys loose. No water access at this one. it was a great park, but the other, the Beach park, is better for them. I really enjoyed this one, and would go back, whenever I wanted a wetlands fix. The wetlands were beautiful. I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Ann - THX on the pics and the vids. Nicholas so loves swimming, and being underwater. :-D It will be both ways for me. Sometimes I just put the camera underwater. other times I will go with him. I thinks o too on the swim lessons, once we can get them started. Oh yes on William - growing so fast! WOW on your weather - we will take whatever extra you have. :-D
Auntie Ann - for you, anytime any day, I will be there. We gots to take care of your neighbors too. OH! The mushroom are fresh - I picked them myself! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Rachel - :-D on Elsa - she does love her barista job, darn good at it too. Mannie trained her well. :-D Oh boy on your taxes - I hate it when they wait until the very last day, the last hour to send that stuff out. more than annoying, for sure! I loved Elsa's run - it was so cool, just becasue she is such a senior! THX on the race today - she did very well!

Hi Carla - THX so much on the pics. I love rain for things like photos, very cool! I thought so too on Elsa - I couldn't believe that it was her! ;-) Meet was great - thanks!

Hi Ella - THX on the pics! Meadowdale is so great for so many things, and it can support such a variety! I thought so too on the signs of spring. I evolved it. Things are starting to bud. YAY! I thought so too on Elsa. having Lola and bug has done just that: sparked some of her spirit. Really fun to watch.
Auntie Ella - you are so welcome! You need some for the evening? ~~ Elsa, KBP

Hi Wendy - THX for the visit. I hope all is well with you, family and Neko. I saw you have snow... OMG! it is coming down there. My sons DGF goes to WWUniversity, and she's concerned on getting home tonight. Looks like it has been snowing there all day. OH NO on your crocus! But it is as you say, really wet snow, and I suspect it will be gone as quickly as it showed up. Me tyoo on Elsa - it was so cool to see her running as hard as the youngins! THX on the meet - it was fun.

Sounds like a fantastic day. AT the rate Nicholas is going with swimming in a few years you will be attending his meets. Fantastic sport in my opinion, of course, I'm a little partial to dressage but my family is a family of swimmers except for the one horsey daughter. Have a good night.

Hi Barbara - THX for the visit! It was a good day. I so love those meets. FUN, and it is so cool to see swimmers succeed in what is not an easy sport. Too fun on Nicholas, it seems to be the path he is headed on, and fine by me. it will be more than interesting to see where all this pool stuff takes him. ah yes - dressage... I do enjoy that too. I so know on that family of swimmers, very good, and very successful swimmers. Will do on thee evening, THX!
