The Be Careful What You Ask For Condo
Today has gone ominously like yesterday so far, numbers-wise. I have repeatedly reminded Cinco that this is bowling night and the lagoon is OFF LIMITS until after 10:30 pm, but I am not sure he's paying attention to me. His appy has been fine since the vomiting yesterday. I didn't even give him Ondansetron or anything. I am suspecting it was a bad can of food. Sasha took longer to recover, but she has other issues with her tummy.
Minka and Sasha both ate, eventually, this morning, but neither has cleaned her plate yet. I'm toying with the idea of giving them each a crumb of Mirtz. I really hate using it, but they need to eat more than they have been. ETA: I just went up and offered them both their plates again, and both are now CPC. No Mirtz yet....
Harvey is still eating me out of house and home. I'll be interested to see if he's gained weight in the past week when I weigh them on Thursday.
It's very, very WINDY again today - 40-50mph. My yard is a mess with dead fronds from the neighbor's palm trees (they never trim them). Interestingly enough, none of my furniture or plant stands have blown over. The wind sounds really scary, though, and I keep looking out to see if little dogs and witches on bicycles are going by!

I had to get a up a little earlier than usual this morning, as our contractor was coming by to do some more work on the floors. As it turns out, we decided on a different size trim, so he has to come back later this week or next. It wasn't a total waste, as he brought his "stair guy", who measured for a new hand rail. I've hated the one we have since we moved in - it's made out of plastic or something and painted white and it's always filthy, but when I clean it so much, the paint rubs off, so it needs to be repainted every few months. We're getting a nice, oak one, stained to match our cabinets. It's a curved stair, so it won't be cheap, but I'll be sooooo much happier when it's done.
Minka says thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes.
Hope every one is having a good Monday!
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, DH and DGD, Lisa's DF, Chris' DM and Elise's DM. Thinking of Paula and sending positive vines her way.
