Bear had a hungry day today, also had a lot of liquipoo. The vet came to the house to recheck his bloodwork. Urine was also drawn, but we will wait for the b/w results before we decide what to do with the urine. His blood pressure was excellent. He is on two meds for hypertension (amlodipine, and fortekor just started a few days ago), so I was glad it wasn't too low. The vet's assistant reshaved Bear's hind quarters for hygienic reasons. Poor Bear tried to fight off the vet with his big, gentle paw. I was so distracted by the end of the visit that I think I mistakenly underdosed his pred tonight (only 1 tablet instead of 3). Rats. I will be interested to see if we have made any progress with his phosphorus. The results will be in tomorrow. Miss Emily's blood and urine were also taken for a recheck. Teddy was off the hook today.
 
Well, his BG numbers are nice, his blood pressure is excellent, his hind quarters are all nice and clean, and his appetite is good. Sending vines for better test results too.
 
Wow! You had quite a day, eh?!?! So did Bear Man. I giggle at the "big gentle paw". Latte does that thing with the paw...'go, get away, stop!', as she tries to push the hand away. All along, never pulling out the claws or aiming to hurt who ever it may be torturing her. Her vet is used to it and almost trusts her. Other vets demand I put a big restraint on her. Silly.

I look forward to the results and hope they are showing improvement.

Sounds like despite the chaos, all held their own and got through it okay.
Hope the reduction in pred does not affect Bear too much. Im guessing a day here and there is not the end of the world.

Hey...how far are you from Thunder Bay?
 
Just wanted to check in on Bear Man and the gang today. Hope the numbers come back they way you need them to.
 
Nice that Bear Man tried to "swat" the vet for shaving his leg.
I mean he odes have his pride you know.
Hoping for good results from the blood.
