Well got woken out of a sound sleep at 1:30 am with Patches opening all the cupboards in the kitchen, after going out to see what he was into I see the light on the answering machine flashing...should have known not to check the messages until this but of course I did, it was the step-daughter.

Apparently she twisted her ankle and thought she had broken it...long story short, after 3 hours at the ER it was nothing and I got to fall back into bed at 5am to get up at 6:40...tested, shot and fed everyone and going back to bed...if she calls again today for any reason I'm killing her.. ohmygod_smile

I had a black/purple ankle the size of a cantaloupe and was sure it was broken, with the appearance and pain, DR said if it's broken, it doesn't hurt or look as bad. So I've remembered that.

Nice to see how well Autumn is recovering from procedures, at least BG wise.

When I woke up a few minutes ago, first thing I did was look for Lucian, couldn't find him anywhere! :o He's always in his box, nope. I finally grabbed the bag of treats and walked around shaking it and calling him and he came walking into the bathroom from the living room somewhere, still don't have any idea where he was. I have a 1 bedroom apt, not that many places to hide. I only know he wasn't in the bedroom Of course, it got the other cats up too, everyone had to have their treat. ohmygod_smile

I just went back in the living room, couldn't find him again! He's sleeping under an old platform rocker, where I can't see him. Don't know what brought this on, but I know where he is now. :-D

You would have to know the daughter...last night was probably more a ploy to get the hospital to write a script for pain killers so she could either get high or sell them to her friends. She was pretty sky high on something when we picked her up. She wanted to come back here to stay since it sounds like yet another of her friends is getting ready to kick her to the curb. But the last time she stayed with us for 3 days, she abused the animals, and lots of my stuff came up missing. Like I went the other day to take the first bubblebath in ages...all of mine was gone, bottles and all. That wouldn't have bugged me all that much except on was an Angel that my mom had given me, and the other was a jade green cat bottle that a friend from NC had given me, since she is Korean and her name means Jade Tiger. Then just the other day I wanted to paint my nails to go out with the hubby...all my nail polish is also m.i.a. Sure it is little things but still stuff that right now I can't afford to replace.

I love her to death but she is addicted to prescription drugs and knows how to work the system to get them. Unfortunately she lies like she breathes so Lord only knows what to believe anymore with her, but as much as Jon wanted to just ignore her call last night being a mom I couldn't if any of it was true and she was locked out of where she has been staying because it was 4 above out. But she is also 21 so we can't just drag her into detox and commit her.

Yeah, we've talked about the daughter. :sad: I feel for ya girl, I really do, but sometimes it takes tough love.

I went thru it with my youngest and due to him being him, I only have one son now and that's the way it will stay, you can only take so much and being ripped off is more than I can take. But it was to the tune of 3400. when he stole my debit card and put me in debt to the bank, that I had to borrow money to get out of or put him BACK in jail, where he had just come from for almost 5 yrs. You have to draw the line somewhere and my son didn't have a drug problem, he's a sociopath, confirmed by many DR's since he was 9 yrs old. He was also 21 when this happened and that was almost 12 yrs ago.

Every few years, some girl will contact me to tell me of another grandchild and how he abused them. Sorry, not my fault. There are warrants on him in 3 states, don't know how he manages to not be in jail. :shock: Every time I hear of some psycho shooting up some place, I expect to see his pic. Would be no surprise to me, I know he''s crazy, been that way all his life. With all the Dr's I had him to, you'd think someone would have been able to help him. That's our mental health system at it's finest. :-x

Really tickled that Autumn is doing so well, I still say she'll be OTJ in no time, now that all her other issues have been addressed. I'm just hoping to see numbers other than black for Lucian. :o

Well either that +6 is a small bounce off the low yesterday or I didn't get her shot in this morning...on 1.5 hours of sleep and being the walking dead, either or both are a possibility.

She just came up to see him so she can slap him around...for not asking directions to the blue and green floors....lol.

I told her she would have to be more of Lady tomorrow and make him come to her...that she is no longer a backwoods farm girl she is now a pampered cultured lady and should behave accordingly.

Actually I think I either had one heck of an air bubble I didn't see and basically shot an empty syringe, because I do vaguely remember that I didn't feel the plunger move at all or it was a fur shot...everyone's schedule is so messed up today who knows but tomorrow is another day. And mom will be more rested by then.

That's right Autumn, you're now a cultured lady and must behave appropriately. :-D You do know my Lucian is quite the refined Gentleman, I'm surprised he would even expect that of you! :o Guess that's what happens when he's been rubbing elbows with the riff-raff. ohmygod_smile I'll have a talk with him.

Can't wait to see how she does over the next few weeks and how you handle those 1 drop doses. ohmygod_smile :lol: Looking forward to see that OTJ icon on your postings. :-D

Well Autumn is still a tortie girl ...tude and all and well sometimes her little kitty biker b*tch purrsonality shines through...lol. I swear one of these days I'm gonna get her a little kitty sized Harley jacket just to get a picture of her...lol. Maybe that will be her OTJ party outfit. :-D Gotta teach the girl a little more refinement yet though.

You know I have seen some tiny 'biker' style jackets for pets. Need one for her OTJ party, for sure. :-D Will have to get a 'tux' for Lucian. ;-)
 
Well that looks like that +6 was a mini bounce off the 34 yesterday and she is trying to clear it pretty quickly, and at least tonight I KNOW she got her insulin. I'm WIDE AWAKE!!! After all the caffine I have consumed so far today I better be.. :-D

So hopefully she will start out tomorrow like this am and remember which way she is suppose to go.. :-Q And we did discuss that a Lady doesn't go to call on a gentleman she makes him come to her...Hear that Lucian and Cedric...you boys need to play catch up to Autumn, you don't really want to get beaten to OTJ by a little girl do you?
