Zener is having a very nice morning. He doesn't seem too sore from his "expressing episode" at the vet yesterday afternoon. It is quite warm here today so the back door is open for coming and going at will and windows are open for bird watching and sniffing. Yard and poo patrol successful! :-D

@Serryn - Zener is such a brave boy and has taken everything we've thrown at him in stride! He knows green is my favorite color so that's why he gave me some green numbers to welcome me home. :mrgreen:

Zener is dropping nicely. I hope green is in the picture sometime today. I'm glad the procedure yesterday helped our guy. It must be very uncomfortable, so I guess it's worth the embarrassment of the moment. ;-)

Nice drop there Zener!!! Great report. Glad Zener has forgotten about the "incident" and is having a good day! I hope Anne is caught up on her rest and you all have a great afternoon!!

Glad little Zener has recovered from his "expressing episode". I heard some parts have 100 degrees, but probably not your location? Did Zener have some picnics today? Good with the yard and poo patrol; :lol: that always gives me a laugh, sorry Zener, at your expense! Nice cycle for Zener.

Ann: Zener has a great sense of humor and knows that we laugh at the way he walks and other things he does. He laughs at himself too. :-D Tillie, on the other hand, does not like to be laughed at and likes us to address her as the queen. So if Zener can give you a good laugh, he is very happy about that. We are at 7000', not 2000' like Phoenix and Tucson. So we have a mountain climate in the pine trees, more like Colorado but drier.

Not the best appy this evening, the big guy seems just a little sore from his ordeal yesterday. He's had a nice day going outside several times to soak up the warmth and watch the birds. :-D

@LInda - thanks for stopping by our condo! We hope to see some greens this evening. The procedure was pretty uncomfortable but we could tell he felt some immediate relief. Today he's a bit sore from it all, but managed a lot of backyard time in the warm weather. :razz:

@Melissa & Mr T - he's had a good day despite being a little sore. I am catching up on my rest and recovering pretty well from the jet lag. :?

@Ann & Maggie - it was hot, hot, hot in the desert but not here. We were in the mid-70s, quite warm for late April. Zener had several picnics! :-D

We'll get a +1 and see how things look. :cool: Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday evening.

Just a brief visit to the yellow floor and back to blue! :-D Successful poo patrol this evening and his appy picked up post-happy crap dash. :lol:

Zener you are heading in the wrong direction, you supposed to go down not up. Love the happy crap dash :lol:

I wonder, how does one know when kitties need help "expressing"?

I'm not sure how others can tell, but with Zener he starts having trouble getting up and getting started with walking. It almost looks like his hips hurt but it has always been full anal glands. We probably need to take him about every 3 months, but we'd lost track and waited a bit too long this time. :sad:

He's making a rapid recovery from his soreness this evening. :-D

We thought the numbers looked a little strange so tested with our back up arkray meter and got a 254. That's some good consistency between our two meters. :smile:

We are seeing bits of green here and there, as well as pinks and yellows, so wondering if we should consider fattening up a drop and see if we get better all around numbers. Our schedules are a bit nuts until Wed evening. Any thoughts are welcome!

Welcome back Anne! What a blue yellow day for. Zener ...he couldn't decide which color he liked best.

I think you are spot on about a dosecrease...it might get a little more green into his cycles.

Vyktor is very impressed that you learned some Aussie lingo for his party :-D

He's also very happy that he's never had any problems with any glands!!!
