Trix dipped her fuzzy little toe into the lagoon with a 99 at +5 last evening, and I guess this time she decided to stick around rather than bounce back out of it. Go, Trixie - keep on surfin!
Things were peaceful with the herd last night. We went back to only letting Zen in the bedroom with us, and he was back to being his usual happy self - purring, rolling around, asking for pettings - rather than being curled up in a tight little hurt and angry ball at the foot of the bed like he was the night before. All the others were quiet on the other side of the door - no scratching or crying at all.
In the long term, I'm not quite sure what to do. We've created a "situation" by giving Zen free run of our bedroom a few days before letting the others in. For the most part, the others really don't care at all, but Frankie does go through phases where she scratches and rattles the door for half the night. It's not a nightly thing, though. So I don't know...maybe we'll just have to live with this current arrangement if it's peaceful the bulk of the time, and just deal with it when Frankie cycles into her scratching phases....
I'm off today, so fuds shopping for me - yay! Have a great one, LL!
