Nice flat start for Trix today! Hopefully she'll keep this surf going.

Today's Frankie Calming Treat Report: She did scratch again last night at about 1:00 and she was more persistent than the night before, so I did have to get up to visit with her, but when I went back to bed she did sleep the rest of the night. So, for now, the jury continues to analyze the data :lol: !!

It is sunny and supposed to hit 50 later today (black ice is out there now, though). This is the calm before the next storms (more s*** tomorrow night and mid-week; brutal cold predicted after that), but I will take it!

Looking good, Trix! Paws crossed for a calmer Frankie. Sounds like the kitty drugs are helping, at least a bit. We have no precip here at all. :sad:

If I recall correctly, you're still on the first kind of calming treats you got for Frankie, right? Perhaps another kind would be more effective. At least you're seeing some improvement, and sleep is so important! Sending calming vines.

Woo hoo Trixie, way to surf like your bean wanted! :mrgreen: . I hope you keep that nice and steady...or a bit lower.

We have the major cold again this coming weekend/week. I hope that the forecast is wrong on the S for you! And paws are still crossed for the calming treats to work ;-) . Happy Sunny Caturday!

A very nice day for Trix today :mrgreen: ! Hopefully she'll give us another gorgeous surf tonight. She is SO not loving the current case of Wellness....we are keeping the fine folks at FortaFlora in business these days!

Yep, we are still on the first brand of calming treats with Frankie. I ordered a second brand a few days ago, but they haven't shipped yet. She is so seriously nocturnal!

The store was crazy today. Being busy is good but exhausting. If I don't get to condos after dinner, pease know that I am thinking of everyone !

Maybe you should give the Canadian cans of Wellness another chance? Glad to hear that the store was jumping today. Hope the next storm misses you. Hope that Frankie will be good tonight. Does she like the taste ofmthe treats?

We could try the Canadian again, but I doubt she'd feel ny different...it wasn't one of those "this is great!" the first time deals. She was indifferent from the get-go, just like she is with the USA. She really like BFF Tuna and Chicken Chuckles so I mix a little of that in and use for in between meal snacks, but I'm iff on feeding seafood all the time.

Frankie seems to like the treats, but the are big...she didn't know how to deal with that, so I break them into 4 pieces for her. She's so cute...

Great news the store was busy. Nice to have the literal calm before the storm on a Saturday. As Mariko said, it's our turn here for a little white stuff. :roll:

Ugh on the Wellness! The cats here can't be the only ones complaining. :-x

Lovely numbers as usual. Do you wonder though what she is doing late in the PM cycle.. Like last night for instance? I wonder if she dropped down a bit. Cats nadirs do wander so you never know..

We've had a little more action than I was hoping for this evening...I could tell she was dropping by that +1.75 test because she was scavenging more than usual.

@Wendy - Thanks for your thoughts. Since we've been doing this a while, we're pretty familiar with Trix's patterns. She's an early dropper, and usually sets up a surf by +2. if she's still active after +2, we keep an extra eye on her, but at the very least, we always test her up until at least +4, even if we don't update her subject line to reflect that. We're very lucky that she is generally predictable, and if she decides to NOT be predictable, it's pretty much always early enough in the cycle that we know to be on alert.
 
Pajama party tonight, eh, Trixie? Well, that green looks really good on you, but I think you can go ahead and surf right where you are for the rest of the night. The beans had a busy day and could use some rest! :mrgreen:
