Purrdy is a rotten tease! S0me good normal cat numbers there but c'mon boy we want green! Lovely toe nibbles from him this morning. Poor thing is so excited to see me in the mornings after spending the whole night alone that he gets quite carried away. Purrdy I have a way to fix that - throw me a pyjama party! I bought a new pair of pjs especially when he was diagnosed (covered in colourful 'bad hair day' echidnas) but haven't had a chance to wear them yet...

i fully expect you to have Purrdy into remission before long. just wanted you to know. :D
he is a bit of a tease, isn't he!? so close to normal range, but not quite there most of the time . . . he just loves his blues!
Thanks for the encouragement Julie. I thought he'd be easy to start off with but I have been wondering lately since he does seem to just love staying in those blues no matter what the dose  I don't recall seeing another kitty like this so I was getting concerned that he might not be the remission type. On the plus side if he's not he will be comparatively easy to manage with his type of cycles (as long as he doesn't start attending Mikey's lessons!)

Good news on the Vyktor poo front. He did a good one this morning, in two parts. I was trying to clear the tray when he came along for part two so since I was in his way he just put his front paws in the lb and went on the floor. That happened a week or so ago and I moved his bum around to inside the tray only to initiate a projectile vomit so I left him be this time. Afterwards he went outside, drank a heap of water and then vomited anyway but much easier to hose it off the pavers than try to get it out of the gaps in the floorboards! His eating wasn't up to scratch yesterday but he has hoed into some breffis this morning, he ate the side with the pumpkin mixed in it first so it's definitely not the pumpkin that was putting him off yesterday. Hopefully between the pumpkin and the coconut oil we can get him back to normal, otherwise it will be vetty time and I think his vet hates that almost as much as Vyktor does!

I think he just hasn't gotten to his dose yet. You know how most cats don't skootch down gradually. They wait for the right dose the all at once the whole range moves down.

I have faith that you'll get him to that dose.

Vyktor reminds me of punkin pooping on me while we were in the waiting room gorgeous the srt. He was standing on my lap, front paws on my shoulders. I was simultaneously repulsed that he'd gone on me, and full of admiration that he'd gone without even squatting. The things we consider with our kitties, lol!

Patience Grasshopper!!! Purrdy will get there - when he's ready!

Good going Vyktor--ick on the projectile vomiting and for Julie's Punkin though... Do you think Vyktor vomited due to the constipation? Or could it be either the pumpkin or coconut oil? Hugs to the big guy!! :bighug:

Purrdy really IS quite the tease! I'm hoping that he will do exactly as Julie described - hit the right dose, and whamo- all greens! Since he's so nice and flat all the time (albeit mostly in blue right now), HOPEFULLY he will just slide down into greens without any dramatic bouncing when he gets to "the" dose.

More poo vines for Vyktor! Front legs in the box - close enough, no? ;) One of our civilians balances with one leg on the edge of the box and three legs out to poo. To his credit, he's actually got pretty good aim despite the balancing act.

@julie & punkin (ga) I think I read Punkin's poo story in his old SRT threads and that is just such a hilarious visual! At a vet visit with one of our fosters a couple years ago, we picked up the carrier to pack up the foster kitty and something small fell out. The vet bent over to pick it up and was holding it up examining it, asking "is this part of a cat toy?" when suddenly I realized in horror that it was a dried up turd left in the carrier. :banghead:

Well the good thing about Vyktor's poo problems is that it's bringing out some great poo stories, still laughing about the punkin poo and now Jen's vet too!!!

Vyktor is eating better today. I'm sure his earlier vomit was just a too much water in a hurry one of those things rather then the pumpkin or the coconut oil. I do need new patience pants thanks Ruth but I think we need to find some made of steel for me, those type burst at the seams too easily! Luckily I have you guys to slow me down when I start getting a bit carried away ;)

No surprises from Purrdy today - flat blue :eek::cool:
