Doing good... paws crossed for 2 days in the yellow. Ham's feeling much better he was even playing a bit this morning

Yellow starts are much better and it looks like he might even see blue later today.

Have not testep yet for ketones but I did get the strips
Good to hear you have the strips. Since DKA was in the recent history, I would be testing fairly regularly.

I gotta watch a few more YouTube videos first
If he will let you watch him pee, it's pretty easy. I could just stick the end of the ketostix in the pee stream, count 15 seconds and compare to the colour chart. Some people use an old spoon or a piece of foul. It's trickier if they are shy.

The other day when u caught him in the box I petted him and he seemed ok with it... I will try for sure on Friday
