Good evening LL!! Sending Sid many healing vines, snowflakes, and white light.

Gracie had a lovely cycle last night and gave us an AMBG that allowed us to go to the golf tournament without worrying that she would have a low nadir. She's on lev and nadirs at about +14-+15 from the previous dose....kinda crazy but that's her. We gave her all but one helping of her food and I'm sure even with 4% that we spiked her. Our neighbor came over this afternoon and fed everyone a round of food. She said Tobey met her at the door and she found Gus right away but went through the house several times and could not find Gracie and started to get scared she had let her out. She said Tobey kept running to the nook where most of their toys are so she sat down to play with him and lo and behold saw Gracie sitting on the chair under the dining table...she'd been watching her all the time    She said all the cats ate well.

We had such an amazing time at the golf tournament. The weather was incredible...low 70s, sunny, just beautiful. We always go to the furtherest out holes where we can sit by the green of a par 3 hole...the tee box is easily in sight and if we just turn around, the tee box to the next hole is right there. There are usually only about ten other people down there and you can get close enuff to the golfers to touch them as they walk from the green of one hole to the tee box of the next. Of course, no one does but it's very cool to make eye contact with Tiger, Rory, Ernie, and all our favorite golfers. As we were driving out, we looked at the car next to us and Ernie Els was in it    We needed this so much and it was perfect so thank you all for being so supportive and encouraging us to go.

We're going to fix some dinner and I'll try to hop back on and see what's been going on today. Missed you all. Sending hugs for each of you for being such great friends and supporters.

I'm so glad you went. It really is refreshing for the soul to get out and see "life" again. Not too bad a PMPS from Princess Grace either!

Golf tournament sounds great! So funny, that was exactly my strategy at the Evian Masters - watch a par 3 green then watch a par 5 tee. Makes you realize how much you can see on TV. Gracie, you can be a little rascal! Definitely her inner butch showing today.

It was so nice of Gracie to cooperate with you so you could take a day off. Beautiful number this morning and look her BG isn't very high tonight at all. Perfect!

Loved that she was hiding on the dining room chair; out of sight if you are standing but clearly visible when you sit down. BigMac's sister, Cappi does that all the time and startles me when she seems to appear out of nowhere! Silly kitties.

So happy to hear you made it to the golf tournament, I can only imagine how nice it felt to be free for the day! It's so funny, but when I feed my neighbors kitties, I always see one hiding on the dining room chair, and they don't move, so almost impossible to see…I guess that's exactly the point

Have a great night!

So happy you had a good day and that Gracie did, too! The kitties had a great party at your house while you were gone!!

Ella & Rusty

Auntie Marje, my mamabean baked cimmamum cookies for the party (Moonie's anniversary) and we all enjoyed them, especially Tobey. I tried to distract him with the iPad, but the cookies and Tess's cimmamum cake won out. I hope he doesn't barf!

I too am so glad you went! Glad too that the kitters were good while you were gone.

i'm so glad you went too! it's good for the soul to have a fun day without responsibilities once in a while. in another 5 years you can have another day! ;-)

is gracie making you pay for being gone today? i've had punkin very pointedly ignore me after i've come home from somewhere, just so i know i sinned! :-D he forgives me eventually.

too funny she was hiding on the chair. "don't see me" we love that game!

Good luck and hope vet will change his mind. Nice curve mgmt tonight.

Vet did change his mind and I'm afraid there wasn't much managment to it just a bit of LC after his tests, a bit more generous than I usually would have been.

When I was feeding some friends' cats once I had to ring them from their place and confess I was missing a cat. I knew he couldn't have got out but I wasn't happy to leave until I had eyeballed him. They had to walk me through all his hidey places over the phone so I could check for him. No way I was ever going to have found him on my own, he was in a trick hiding place inside the back of their sofa. They thought it was hilarious, I was having a heart attack!

I echo the chorus of: so glad you guys got to have a nice day out together :-D
