Hmmm, pink ain't macho, Checkers! He ate well, but isn't very active this morning. Yesterday, is gait was slow and stiff, in the morning. I wonder if the weather change is bothering his back. It's going to be warmer for a few days, altho still dreary.

I still can't find freeze dried chicken liver. I've never given him beef liver, or tried duck breast. He doesn't like the PureBites Chicken.

Ok, Checks...let's bring it down a bit!

I hope he's feeling better...I hate when our babies are stiff, sore, not feeling like themselves. When do you get his thyroid re-checked? If his dose is higher than he needs, the resulting low thyroid could also slow him down a bit, too.

Hi guys .. you're right barb, pink is not macho! Time to ditch it checkers .. mocha can't believe that he doesn't like purebites chicken! Hope he starts feeling better soon with the warmer weather .. have a great weekend!

Hi Barb, I hope Checkers feels better and could be the weather, barometric pressure. Have you ever tried the Pure Butes Chicken Breast. Mags likes them, and they don't seen to stay fresh longer than the chicken.

Pure Bites makes a duck liver treat - in the dog section. It's a fairly new one that both of mine like. If you search on Amazon, there are a few freeze dried chicken treats. We have different brands available in Canada. I currently trying a sample of bison liver that's going over well.
