Morning everyone. Well she's exactly where she was at yesterday's PMPS. I was so worried all night long at work that I would come home to a critically ill kitty. I kept picturing that morning finding her under Ayanna's crib covered in her own urine and vomit all over the house. Just about drove myself insane even though I had called home and Daniel said she was OK. Thank God she's in much better shape than that.

When I came home I found her lying on the couch. I decided seeing the Metacop wasn't doing the trick for her that i would give her 1mg of Ondansetron that we had in the house. I waited about 45 minutes and then gave her breakfast. I was amazed she ate about 1/3 of a 5.5oz can of Before Grains Chicken. She ate all on her own-no finger feeding or syringe feeding. I'm so happy. Hopefully she will continue to improve. If I had to take her in today it would mean a trip to Emerg and that would not be a good thing. But if I have to I have to. We'll see as the day goes on.

I'm going to give her Bupe now and then get some much needed sleep for a couple of hours. I have an appointment this afternoon that I can't get out of. I'll update this afternoon. Please keep my little girl in your prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with all our sick kitties and their Beans. Have a good day everybody.

Hi Barb,

I'm sorry Tori is having a CP flair, those can be scary. I sure hope she feels better soon. cat_pet_icon .

Sending hugs. Are you on the pancreatitis yahoo group?

Ondansetron can be bought for 1$ per 4mg pill from thrivingpets. Someone recently found it for an amazing price from their local mom and pop pharmacy though.

Hi Barb - I am so glad to read that she is feeling better today. It is good she ate on her own this morning. I am relieved. I hope today went well for her. Mannie and I send many prayers for her continued improvement.

Hi everybody. This is just a quick mini update while I eat and wait for the Ondanestron to take effect before I test and feed Tori.

It's been very much an up and down kind of day. As I mentioned she ate a pretty fair breakfast all on her own but lunch was definitely not good. She wouldn't eat anything for me . I had to run out for my appointment and stopped at Pet Planet on my way home to search for more foods to tempt her with. I found a food made by Almo Nature which is shredded chicken breast with cheese. Not low carb I'm sure but Tori loves cheese so I thought I;d try it. She let me finger feed her some. She hasn't vomited at all but she still feels quite punky. I discovered that she had pooped on the floor again and also peed as well. I'm wondering if she has a UTI going on as well. I just don't know at this point. I gave her 100cc squids at +9.5.

So in a couple minutes I will test her and try and get her to eat.

Tomorrow I plan to call the vets as soon as I get home from work and tell them that she needs to be seen ASAP. They are always so good about getting her in right away. Why do these things always happen on a long weekend?

Anyway off I go. PLease send some eat Tori eat vibes and prayers. Will post again after I'm done.

Got to be very quick here because I am at work. When I went to check Tori's BG she was on the bed. She was very out of it and had been incontinent of a large amount of urine and was just lieing in it. Her sugar was 10.6. I grabbed her and off to the ER we went. By the time we got there she had woken up a bit. They are keeping her overnight and doing bloodwork and urinalysis. SHe has a fever. Theywill have her on IV fluids. The plan is to transfer her to Dr Doug in the morning. Please pray for my baby. I am really scared.

Will update in the morning when I know something.

Poor Tori, I hope she feels better soon. I know how scared you must be to see her in that condition. Hope you hear that she is doing better today.

She's in my thoughts and prayers.

Barb, I am praying the Tori will be much better today and be able to go home soon. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm also sending prayers to give you peace and strength to help Tori. :YMHUG:

Hoping Tori's feeling much, much better. She has terrific vets and you got her there quickly and she is such a fighter. Come on, Trooper Tori, feel better!
 
(((Barb))) I just saw this, praying that the vets will be able to figure out what is going on and that Tori responds quickly. I know how scary those flares can be. Will be looking for an update.
