2/21 Sebastian PMPS 233 +1 236 +2 304 +3 290

As Marje asked, how off schedule can you be? If you shoot 60 minutes or 90 minutes or whatever late, can your shoot schedule handle being off by that much time (you will need to shoot 12 hours or so, after you shoot tonight, tomorrow morning. You can adjust back slowly to your regular time in 15 minutes per cycle or 30 minutes per day, from there).

That won't be a problem, I work from home so my schedule is flexible.

I know you're not used to testing at night, yet, but you may need to test until +6 (3:00am EST) or longer tonight depending upon his numbers, so just be prepared, just in case. I used to take short naps on my couch and use my cell phone alarm on the coffee table. It was easier to get up that way. If I went to bed, I would sometimes find that I turned the alarm off in my sleepiness, and it was harder to get up to test from my warm bed.

+1 BG 233. Hasn't vomited since eating last. I'm pretty sure that 110 was a bogus reading and his vomiting prior to it had my brain in panic mode and I didn't think to double check the reading. These low 200s are a lot closer to what I would expect to be seeing in him lately. I still want to take him to the vet tomorrow for an exam and get a fPLI but I don't think he's going to have a problem tonight.

He should have had a big food spike at +1. I would urge you to get a +2. If you can get him to eat, that would be great.

I’ll check in at +2.

Housekeeping: could you please change the subject line so it reads:

2/21 Sebastian PMPS 236 +1 233

Also, if you could update his SS, that would be great. In the PMPS column, enter 110 @ +12; 208 @+13; 236 @ +13.5

Thank you!

+2 304. I just set out some Wellness Core Indoor wet that I had and he's eating that now. No more vomit still.

Thanks again for walking me through it.

Lots of action here tonight. Just catching up.
And since when is it 2 hours after feeding he gets the shot? I read it was 20-30 minutes.
Its not that 2 hours after feeding we shoot, its that we recommend no food after +10 (which is 2 hours before shot time) so that we can be confident that the PS is not food influenced. Gathering +10 and +11 tests (becoming data ready to shoot lower PSs) , combined with a PS that is not food influenced helps you figure out if he is going up or coming down.

How is he doing now?

You can shoot 30 minutes each morning to start getting back on time or 15 mins each cycle.

I think he was confused that we were waiting to see if the carbs wore off before the shot.

Just so it’s clear, we normally test, feed, shoot within 15-20 minutes. However, if you are stalling and you feed, then we wait to be sure you aren’t shooting a food spike. That’s why we tell members to not feed if they are stalling.

Does that make sense, Sebastian’s dad? BTW, do we know your name?
