Yesterday's excitement.

Ripley's looking good this morning.
Last night she welcomed me home with plenty of squawks.
When I was going off to bed, I looked on her rocking chair to say good-night to her -- and she wasn't there.
She was waiting for me on my bed, something she hasn't done since Nov or Dec. She slept by my side all night. I slept lightly, I think to savor it all.
I can't believe she gave up sleeping by her heater.
Love that girl.

Goal #1: To keep her regular. Today I added some slippery elm bark to her food. (Along with the usual Miralax, squash baby food, B vitamins, phos. binder, water.) The vet said to expect some loose stools over the next couple of days; she hasn't used the LB (except to pee) since returning home from her enema yesterday late-afternoon. I'm looking forward to coming home from work today and finding prezzies (fingers crossed).

I'm sending vines to those who need them today! I hope to get caught up on condos soon.

Aw man, no prezzies today (not yet, anyway).

Ripley is doing GREAT behavior-wise.
Alert, energetic (well, energetic for her), chatty, affectionate, demanding -- pretty much back to her normal old self :-D .

Keeping an eye out for some LB action.

Spent the day at work, then running errands, stocking up on supplies for Ripley. (I can assume she went into the blues at some point today.) No one-stop-shopping for this kitty. Petco, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and in 3 diff. areas of town, of course. But I got home in time for Ripley to enjoy the last few mins. of rays in the backyard. Sun kitty = happy kitty.
 
Hi Josie, we're checking up on Ripley. It could be she's just so cleaned out yet from the Vetty enema. Did it take more than one enema at the Vet? Sending big poo vines for overnight prezzies. On the tummy massage, no special technique, just in a circle clockwise. I've always done it occasionally, as Mags loves her tummy rubbed. but I've started doing it daily when she's in bed with me. Give little Ripley some scritches from us.

I'm looking forward to getting her comfy with tummy massages.
