It's not cancer! We had the evil little growth in his mouth removed at the Vet School here on Monday. They biopsied it, and turns out It's all inflammatory tissue. Might have been a parasite or something like a splinter. The testing is continuing to figure out why it grew at such a rapid rate - from .5cm in November to 2.5cm now, but who cares, because IT'S NOT CANCER!!!

i forgot to ask if anyone knows what might cause him to be anemic. He's developed a "galloping heart rhythm" and apparently anemia can cause it, and his blood was anemic. We have an appt in 2.5 hrs at the regular vet's for his laser treatment (arthritis) and i'll ask her about it. Just thought it was likely someone here might have experience with it as well.
