Good Morning!

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=114081

I have a long and busy work day, I needed to sleep last night, so not a lot of data. I am pleased with Ole's low pink PS, and I feel that he is most likely seeing yellows and perhaps a dip into the blues through the night. I look forward to the weekend....duh...don't we all! hahaha, no but I look forward to the weekend so I can observe him more closely. Learning what I can from the R incident.

Ole is doing well with his 5P's in place. He is napping right now, which is usual for him after breakfast. He pesters me to get up to feed him starting at 5amish. Pester purr pester purr pester pester purr. He finally gets his way and then takes a bath and a leisurely nap, so sometimes I pester pet pester pet pester pet as payback. All is fair in love and war!

Warm thoughts going out to all you caring for your precious sugar kitties while at the same time juggling your families needs, your career, wacky weather or whatever other curve balls life throws your way. Hats off to you!

Hi, Rebekah. Ozy and I do that pester trade, too. Glad Ole is coming along. I am still hoping that R may have done some real good. Why not have a silver lining?

Re: 2/21 Ole AMPS 334

I am so glad to hear I am not the only one with that payback gene!

I hope Ole has great numbers today and that you get some good data this weekend. Yes we all look forward to the weekend or snow days!!

Re: 2/21 Ole AMPS 334

Morning Rebekah, good to see that lower pink start. I can so relate to the need for sleep. Many a night I look at Neko's SS and pose the question, will she be safe tonight? Although it's nice to see those blues and yellow, it's not worth losing sleep for it. At our house, we refer to it as "reading at the tea leaves before bed".

Love the pester payback. Sometimes I have to resort to combing as payback.

Re: 2/21 Ole AMPS 334

Glad to hear a good report on Ole. Love the payback   . I have to confess I've done the same. The problem is, when I wake a kitty from a sound sleep, they seem to either be really happy to see me, or when I'm done pestering, they go right back to sleep! Doesn't seem to be fair to me!

Re: 2/21 Ole AMPS 334

Love the payback! I'm always nervous if I rouse Cobb from his sleep, what will be in store for me at 2am?

Nicer PS this morning. Come on down, Ole. Nothing to see up there!!

Nice all day slide! Zener is impressed and won't even charge you royalties for his patented slide.   It is amazing what people do for their kitties here, besides all the other stuff they have to deal with. Hats off indeed! :-D :-D

This really made me  !!! It's so true - I admit, I do the same thing as "payback" for the middle-of-the-night pesters I get. It is SO worth it, though...what little angels they really are!

I'm glad all is well with you guys today, and I hope you're enjoying a well-deserved relaxing Friday night!

Saw your condo yesterday about Ole's eyes and you having them checked on Monday at the vet. One thing that was said to me made me feel a lot better about punkin's vision - the vet said "he doesn't need to be able to read the newspaper!" :-D

Wendy asked about the responsiveness of his pupils - you might pay attention when he gets sun in his face (if you HAVE any!) to see if his pupils contract to slits like normal. I realized punkin's pupils had stopped contracting hardly at all while we were on our way to Colorado to get him treated for the acro. Apparently the acro tumor was pressing on his optic chiasm - the nerve pathways that affected his vision. i'm not sure i'm describing it well, but i just wanted to suggest that you notice the pupil response before you go to the vet. Punkin also had some cloudiness, which i think is cataracts, but he never lost his sight.

hoping your long day went well and you sleep well tonight! :YMHUG:
