My coffee is getting cold. I need to warm it up to come back and start visiting condos. Not sure why he gets these numbers some days. He ate horribly last night. You'd expect his number to be lower when he eats so little. He spent the whole night sleeping with me in the spare bedroom. I'm keeping DH awake tossing and turning.

Do any of you guys have the day off today? Its a holiday here.

Happy Monday. Big day for me. The 54 gallon tank has bubbles in the silicone so I got a sweet deal on a 65 gallon. DH is going to help tear down the old tank and refill the new one. My part is the easy part. Draining the tank LOL. It drains directly into the sump.

Re: 2/21 Maverick AMPS 125

Strange that his number is a little higher when he didn't eat so well. These kitties...we can never quite figure them out! Hope you both have a great day though...Happy President's Day!

Hi Karrie and Maverick! Yes, holiday today for us, too! Maggie's numbers usually get lower when she doesn't want to eat!

Re: 2/21 Maverick AMPS 125

Oh, a new tank! Sounds like you have a fun holiday ahead!!

Rusty bounced today, too. Roni is right: they are cats.

Enjoy Family Day. There are lots of Canadian families here this weekend: Quebec and Ontario license plates all over the place.

Ah Maverick - eat your fuds! but it is as Roni says - they are cats!, and they will do what they want, and more than likely ignore the wishes of us humans. :-D

Oh what fun on the tanks... Hope that goes OK.

Enjoy the holiday!

Re: 2/21 Maverick AMPS 125

Karrie, Hope you had a nice holiday. I have never heard of Family Day -- see what great information we can learn from FDMB!! Hope Maverick eats better for you today so you can see some more greens. He is such a good boy that I'm sure he will be there before the end of the day.

AWWWWWWWW!!!!!! Adorable.

Had a long nap this afternoon and slept through all his testing times. I won't be setting up a condo for Maverick tomorrow. Shot would be 1/2 hour early so I'm thinking of skipping it instead of having DH do it. What would you guys do? I will have to predraw the syringe an hour and half earlier. Sorry guys, DH just isn't patient enough to learn micro dosing and I don't have the confidence to hope he is patient enough. Especially knowing what he is like early in the morning racing around before running to work.

Nike (my dog) and I are driving 3.5+ hours each way to the cardiologist tomorrow. We have to drive through Montreal rushhour so probably leaving at 5AM to get there for 9:30AM. She's doing well, but since her kidney numbers came back elevated and she's on a lot of lasix I want to make sure we are treating her right and what the options are. She isn't eating well at all since starting the clavamox and switching to baytril for a long term undiagnosed bladder infection.

Wow what a big job setting up the tank was. DH was a tad grumpy, but I think I would be too. He has to fill the tanks for me one 5 gallon jug at a time. Long story but I can't use my well water right from the tap. It has to be aerated for 24 hours first (long story). The fish in the tank (Ripley and Tripp and two Dojo loaches - the Snarlettes)... Ripley and Tripp were hatched from an egg from their parents. They were the size of an eyelash with eyes and are now between four and five inches without counting their tails.
