What a nice day for Mannie yesterday - BLUE!! And steady too. He started out mid yellow, but once he found the blues he seemed to want to surf there. What a nice treat to have a 116 for a pmps, and the rest of the cycle? YAY! Such a nice even consistent blue surf! . Well done Mannie! I like those numbers. More please, OK? All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Though we did have a mini WWIII erupt here yesterday morning. Happens every time the bean gets serious about fur mat removal. :shock: I had combed and brushed him from one end to the other day - more so that the daily once -over. Yesterday morning at test time it was apparent that the mat making machine had been working overtime during the night and a serious de-matting was in order :o . Such a fuss from the Manster :roll: :roll: . You would think I had removed and hidden all his nanners :shock: - such carrying -ons. :roll: He is now,more or less, mat free, and even got a once-over with a conditioning wipe. His fur looks and feels great. I am however not convinced that he agrees with the assessment.I keep getting these glares.... :? :? :? And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! Busy day here: hair cut, dentist , and then visit to Seattle to share a cup of ~O) with friends. I so hope Mannie behaves......

Hey everybody!!! GUESS WHAT! The bean is away all. day. long. You know what that means!!!! PARTY AT THE MANSTERS!!! We can cook and grill and bake and stuff. And I gots the fireplace going and have tons of fleece blankies. And the niptini pitchers are FULL! Uhhhhh Tess? can you bring that iPod thingie again? I so wanna chase those mousies.... What great blues yesterday! Way to go Mannie. Why don't you do it again? Oh the dreaded mat removal day. They just don't understand that it hurts us as much as them. :lol: I wear long tube socks on my hands and arms when I try to do Tarragon. (Be sure to stress try in the previous sentence.) What is it with these long haired fuzz balls? Now Turnup will lay down right in front of me and beg to be brushed.

Awesome! Home alone at the Mansters! I'll be there buddy and bring some of these cookie things my bean has hidden in the cupboard. They say they are made from girl scouts, whatever that it. They must be good though cuz she sneaks them and makes funny faces while she eats them. - Tarragon

Way to go Mannie! What a great blue surf for the Manster! Mat removing day is no fun though. Doobie is long haired and loves to have his back brushed, but don't even think about going underneath!

What a day for you Michelle, haircut (yay!), dentist (ugh!), coffee with friends (yay!). Usually two out of three ain't bad, but when one is the dentist, maybe a different measure applies. Anyway, enjoy the good parts.

Morning Michelle ~O) it looks like Mannie is having a nice slow drop just like Mags today. I hope he continues and we see him in blues again today. So funny with the de-matting and WWIII :lol: don't touch my coat Mom! Have a nice day with appts. and coffee with a friend, and hope the dental goes okay.

Morning Melissa - yesterday was a nice day for Mannie - sure do hope he decides those kind of days are keepers. :-D and so agreed on the mats and the combing. :shock: :? I am not allowed to ever ever comb near his tail (well his pseudo tail, he really does not have one...) - that is thousand hisses and way to many chomps! amazing how quickly that head can pivot and remove part of your flesh. :lol: and yes on the long vs the short hairs. Else loves to be combed!

Hi Linda - oh wow on Doobie - with Mannie it is the opposite - I do much better with the belly, but forget the back side... that is WWIII for sure. Silly kitters! and thanks on the blue surf - loved yesterday, hope he can find it again today. :-D -- LOL on the 2 out of 3 comment. so agreed on the dentist, but i need to go - just for a cleaning etc, and hopefully they will stop with that. :shock: :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - yes, so far it is a slow drop, and I hope he continues with that today, as I won't be around much - alot of ins and outs.... and yes on the de-matting - what a battle! thanks too on the dental - I do too. Been a while since i have been, and need to get back into the groove on that one, so off we go! woo hoo?

Tough on those mats! Fortunately Rusty doesn't get bad mats. After that great blue streak of numbers yesterday, it looks like sort of a "rest day" today.

Yuck on the dentist - I'd just as soon skip those days.

Today's 'de-mat' day around here, dogs and cats both. KT doesn't mat very often, mostly just loose dead hair that gathers on the end of his mane when it lets loose. Now Snowshoe..he's a different story. He mats really really bad and quickly. By accident last year, I let 2 get bad before I realized they were there. He and I fought for many days to slowly cut them out. His don't come out easily with brushing, I have to comb with the fine tooth side. He did finally learn that brushing his chest and rearend wasn't a bad thing. We feel for you Sir Mannie...

Hi guys .. what a great run of numbers yesterday! Looks like mannie was pretty proud of himself as well, and wants to be back down there again! Good job on getting his fur all taken care of .. our boy cheddar (GA) had long hair, and we used to take him to the "beauty parlor" to get cleaned up .. he loved it! :lol: have a great day!

Hi Lyresa - I so agree - I do love a slide like those. :-D I hope your de-matting went well. Mattie seems to be a quick matter too. One day nothing, the next we have several. :shock: I hear you on the wrestle mania to cut them out when they get like that. Mannie has had a couple of tummy ones that I didn't know were there and the only was was via cutting. Needless to day he was not happy with me. He graciously accepts your sympathy, and promptly told me "I told you so"!

Hi Devon - I so liked yesterday too - YAY!!! I think he was too- he did give me a nice blue surf this afternoon - I am pleased with that. Oh wow on Cheddar - maybe I should think about that... I wonder what he'd think... :? ;-)

Well i seriously hope you didn't have any mats in your hair Michelle! :lol: I was so hopeful when you said WWIII erupted this morning, i was thinking it was a whack-a-thon with Elsa and Mannie! But alas, it was just hair brushing time, Leo loves to get his hair brushed. It must be a long haired kitty thing to hate hair brushing.

Very nice numbers today for Mannie!

No beans???? I'll be right over, do you have any mousies we can catch there? Hey....we can hide all the hair brushes while your bean is gone so you don't have to get tortured anymore.....k?

Mannie...trying to get to the green lagoon...ALLLMMOOOSSSTTTTT THEEERRREEE! Hey guess what...we can party here tomorrow...beans are gone all day and I don't have to get no juice and NO POKEYS!!!!! Desert party tomorrow....it's warm, sunny, catnip patch in place....grill!! Let's do it!!
