AMPS 417 - REALLY Pook? RED? Oh you look so BAD in red!

Not sure why these terrible numbers - just started a new pen a couple of days ago...I didn't expect him to go this HIGH! He's SUPPOSED to go LOWER - hear that KT? I'm not sure just what to do here...any suggestions?

Nothing very exciting here at our house this morning - beautiful sun and already 48 degrees at 9:45....unlike last night when it stormed and blew away loose things. There were several damaged homes and unfortunately, one person killed. This is so early to start this type of storms. They were bad last year, we got hit 3 times.

Thoughts and prayers today for Klinger, Rocket, Reagan, Babee and others fighting issues right now. Paul-Kyle's house is still full of kitty flu, hugs and prayers for them also. Today I add prayers for all of us Beans taking care of our babies, we need extra hugs and thoughts too.

Good morning! If you figure out the red thing, let me know because Tarragon is right there with KT today.

It stormed here pretty bad last night too. It was more typical of a late March storm, with the lightning, hail, and strong winds. Way too early in the year to start this again. The good thing was it blew through fast and was over in 1/2 hour.

Both of our OK kitties had bad storms last night and are red today. Storm stress?

KT _ What are you doing wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy uppppppppppppppppp thereeeeeeeeeeeeeee? You and Tarragon. You guys need to come on down, like pronto. Maybe on the storm stress? Well - wish I had an answer for you on the red. Looks like a bounce, but not too sure from what. perplexing. I do hope KT comes down soon.

Hi Lyresa & crew,

Does the insulin in the new pen look OK to the eye (not cloudy; no particles floating around)? It's probably OK though. Every time I've thought I had a bad new pen it turned out to be the cat!
The red number could be influenced by the stormy weather. Anyway, I hope that KT will decide to come down today.

How's the rest of the crew doing today?

This could be a high before a break or it could be that KT needs more insulin. You're also in that last stretch from the bounce from 2/18.

New insulin looks fine - we've always finished each of our pens to the very end without having a problem. This is the third pen out of that box. I store them wrapped in a hand towel in one of my seldom used crisper drawers to hopefully keep them from being affected by anything.

Maybe it WAS storm stress - we put a full metal roof over everything so even rain can get loud near the garage door. I can't see anything that would cause a bounce. He got into kibble 3 days ago but that should be gone....just don't understand it...

Hi guys .. bummer on that high start today .. seems like a couple kitties got stuck up there! Sorry to hear about the storms already rolling through .. I hate dangerous storms like that .. have a great day guys!

Awfully quick dive there...just gave him plate of 5% which should slow it down some.

I just realized a few minutes ago that KT and Tarragon were both at 417 this morning - wierd that it was the same number. KT's behind Mr. T's schedule but he's also down into the 200's now at his +6....diving Oklahoma kitties...
